Plastic windmills in the gents that I can water at and chuckle as I make them spin round.

New stadium at UWE? Doubt it New stadium somewhere else in the City? Doubt it New (revamped) stadium at Mem? Maybe, but when did that plan become "off track" in order to warrant it being back "on track"?
Sounds like a load of bollox to me.
Yeah , but we've got a lovely new blue tunnel for the players to walk out of and don't forget the new(ish) state of the art electronic score board , it will be better than Wembley in no time! I saw the new blue players tunnel at the last home game. I thought it looked pretty good. Mind you, anything that looks new really stands out in our dilapidated stadium. Not sure I can get too worked up about the scoreboard but at least it's not in fluorescent green cos that used to play havoc with my eyes.

Heard from a friend who is a Blackburn fan saying that our new stadium build is back on track. He read this on a private Blackburn Facebook account today. New stadium at UWE? Doubt it New stadium somewhere else in the City? Doubt it New (revamped) stadium at Mem? Maybe, but when did that plan become "off track" in order to warrant it being back "on track"?
Sounds like a load of bollox to me.

I've been a member for around 3 seasons. I won £50 worth of vouchers a while ago, that's it so far! Did you spend your winnings on food?

I don't have a problem with Taylor leaving us and tripling his wages. Good luck to him on that front. My issues are with the timing and the fact that he went to the darkside. MeatLoaf sings that Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad. Well, it bloody well is this time.

Real shame he has gone so early. I was a big fan in the 80's watching him winning his world titles. Was good entertainment in the I'm A Celebrity Jungle programme a few years ago. Remembered for liking his smokes, straight talking and for making some money by betting on himself to get to the latter stages of the competition.
What's for breakfast? Fags What's for dinner? Fags What are you gonna have when you leave the jungle? Fags
I'm a non smoker but that was hilarious.

So, if what you have been told is true, it probably got built by an offshore company who can supply 20 developers for the price of one uk developer. In my experience, and I stress it's "in my experience", the quality of the resulting product turns out to be very poor. The projects I have worked on have ended up with software that resembles a house of cards. Trying to add new features (like being able to change the area of the ground you occupy for instance) becomes very difficult as the software breaks in unpredictable ways. In the end, and again this is only in my experience, outsourcing has proven to be a complete false economy. Far more has needed to be spent on "Technical Debt", trying to fix things that were not done very well in the first place. I'm not saying this IS the situation we have, but it seems likely to me. The worse aspect of this is that the club could lose ST sales especially for those people who might be 50/50 about buying a season ticket.I buy one at each game but can you get a 50/50 season ticket?

Looks like the useless waste of space has found his level.
Former Scotland, Hibernian and Celtic forward Derek Riordan has signed for St Bernard's, who play in the Lothian and Edinburgh Amateur Football league.
The 35-year-old, capped three times for his country, lasted played in the senior leagues with Edinburgh City in league Two last season.
Riordan made seven appearances, scoring three times, after signing a short-term deal in February 2017.
That had come after eight months out of the game after leaving York City.

Maybe DC is going to try Slocombe up front, as the big target man that some have been calling for, and Mildy is getting some minutes under his belt just in case he’s called into action. 😉 Maybe we should give Mildenhall a run up front as he would then be our tallest striker. Wouldn't have to run around much - just stand there and nod the ball down to someone.

I'm guessing no free pasty, no free pint, no bring a friend, no 10% home or away shirt discount? Could be wrong. I renewed my season tickets at the club shop at lunchtime. I asked one of the ladies whether we will get any of the usual offers (pint, pasty, bring a friend etc). She didn't know. Incidentally, I renewed 3 season tickets and the admin fee was £1.50. No extra requested for postage so I guess the admin fee covers that.

It's the old story and applies to any level of football....don't give the ref the option to make a bad decision. Keep yer gob shut ! I was thinking exactly that - here's hoping! And this is the ref who apparently apologised to DC after his performance in November at Blackburn, clearly not feeling he owes us!! That ref at Blackburn disallowed a perfectly good goal of ours, but waited until Blackburn were about to kick off for the restart before disallowing it. Then he got conned by their substitute falling over in the penalty area. If it's the same ref then I fear we could end up losing this game.

Hopefully we get a decent set of officials this time around that don't rule out perfectly good goals. If the same referee can also have his eyes open for blatant diving in the box then we will have a decent game. The penalty they got at their ground was a bloody joke.
