The greatest tennis player of all time. Rafael Nadal has completed La Decimal. Ten, I repeat, 10 Grand Slam titles at a single event. The phenomenal man from Manacor has created Open tennis history. No one will ever repeat this feat. And now it's 11 titles at Roland Garros.

This should be in general chat not general sport chat. Tennis is not a sport really it's just a game like ping pong.

12 Roland Garros titles now. 2 days after once again dismantling the aging Swiss Big cheese. Nadal has given the pretender to his throne another whooping.

Ah I see, updates are only allowed on this thread when Nadal wins a tournament with no competition

Not a true great. A one trick pony who can only play on mud in Paris. Clueless.

Ah I see, updates are only allowed on this thread when Nadal wins a tournament with no competition According to some on here, his semi final opponent is the greatest player ever to have walked the planet. And if you are in some way talking about the ratty Serbian, I could have mentioned the Italian Masters final a few weeks ago, but never had the time to do so.

More slams and done in style unlike Nadal who just uses muscle power - doesn't use the same fitness coach as Ben Johnson by any chance does he?

Strangley Nadal is widely regarded by experts as the best volleyer alive, and according to Mats Wilander today, has more ways of finishing off a point than anybody else. His game is not purely about power. Some of his touch play, especially this past fortnight, has been sublime.

The lazy just stays on the baseline. Useless.

Nadal is absolutely not fit enough to string Federer’s racquet.

You all know the scores guys. Work it out yourselves. The gulf would be even greater, but Fridays match up was the first time in 6 years that the two had faced off on clay. The only player that comes anywhere near Nadal is Djokovic. And he has never won a single tournament 12 times. Not even on his favourite surface.

That's the only explanation for your odd claims. Nadal is clueless on any surface apart from mud where nobody will argue he's quite good - mud being the surface requiring least skill and touch.

Peter Fleming won loads of doubles titles. I guess he is one of the greatest players of all time too!

Not sure what you are talking about when you say mud. The mud court tournaments have just started. It's the ones that start on grass.
