I think Jamie Sleigh will be a striker worth our scouts watching this season. Although not a youngster at 24, he has a prolific record at his former clubs with 27 goals in 21 appearances for Mickleover RBL and most recently for Heanor Town with 98 goals in 102 appearances. He already has 6 or 7 goals in pre-season for his new club Stafford Rangers. Can't hurt to keep an eye on him.

I wonder if anyone from Rovers is monitoring Luke Spokes who joined Yate Town this summer? He scored a couple of goals in a MOTM display tonight against Taunton Town, including a 20 yard screamer apparently. Plays in successful SGS college side and represented England colleges at the 2019 Roma Caput Mundi tournament. Goal for Mangotsfield last season Taunton goal: Signed for Ollie at Grimsby. www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/grimsby-town-transfer-luke-spokes-4484573

Get a list ready (although I'm not sure after last time! ) Nigel Clough would have to be in the running if we were to contemplate getting rid of Garner at any point. In his first spell at Burton he took them up from the seventh tier to the brink of promotion to League Two. In his second spell helped to get them promoted to the Championship and then kept them there the following season. Last couple of seasons in League One had them comfortably finishing mid table on a limited budget and also incredibly got them to the Semi Final of the League Cup. Took over Sheffield United in the relegation zone and got them into the League One playoffs and to the FA Cup and League Cup semi-finals and at the same time dramatically cut their wage bill.

Wouldn't be against that at all. Did well with Burton, not sure the exact reason why he left.

22-year-old midfielder Ali Coote has caught my eye for Waterford in the League of Ireland. A former Brentford B team Player of the Year and Dundee United player who made his debut at the age of 16 for the Scottish side. Represented Scotland at youth level.

Striker Michael Leddy looks a prospect playing for the newly formed Shamrock Rovers II side in the League of Ireland First Division. Only 16-years-old. Good finish here last weekend for the 4th goal: Another goal on Friday night for Leddy. His teammate Kevin Zefi also looks a player.

Possibly an awful shout but David Nugent has been told to find a new club by Preston. Was dreadful last season but a vastly experienced player.

Gary Hooper has just left his club in New Zealand. Would be a good signing imo, 32 years old experienced goalscorer.

19-year-old Hartpury student King Baidoo. Pace, power, finishing ability. Also playing for Westfields in the Hellenic League where he has 5 goals in 6 starts since joining in November. Played for England Schools side in the past. Work Permit might be an issue...I'm not sure about this, but think he might be on a student visa as he came to Hartpury through the Right to Dream project that produced the likes of Ghanaian internationals David Accam (ex Evesham Utd) and Abdul Majeed Waris... although if there is any chance we could do something to get him into the club it would be worth it IMHO. Certainly worth a closer look. Loads of potential.

Deese Kasinga, 20-year-old, winger, Tower Hamlets. Former Brentford and Newcastle youth once named by the Guardian newspaper as "one of Premier League's top 20 talents". Winger that can play on either side, ACM or further forward. Some skills and chances created here in the tweet below recently by Deese Kasinga. Blue number 11. His teammate Denilson Carvalho would also be worth watching with a view to the development squad. The winger/attacking midfielder was with Arsenal up to U15 level, then spent 2 years with Watford and most recently was with Huddersfield. He has impressed in the FA Vase this season with a few goals and also has 4 goals in 6 games in the league campaign.

Another lad in non-league would be worth our scouts monitoring. Do you send these things onto Tommy W or Adam M in the non playing staff ? ... I have listened to podcasts from both of these guys and I reckon your voluntary work could be a real asset pal If you are interested of course
