Movement at the stadium today, first signing signed and sealed. Coming in for a fee, so a good start to the window ! Shop was shut so they could do the photos press release etc I’m lead to believe! Rumour is that Taylor Moore is signing Good age, knows the area, versatile (CB/RB/RWB/CDM), good character/leadership qualities, comfortable on the ball, good passing range, decent defender. ✔ |

Nicky cadden and Herbie Kane released by Barnsley, Neal Etheridge, Will Evans for money, Ronan curtis there is a lot of decent players out there, always a gamble let s hope we due our due diligence.

Liam Walsh has been released by Swansea. The best player in the team that got Coventry promoted from our division. Wonderful footballer.

Rumour is that Taylor Moore is signing Good age, knows the area, versatile (CB/RB/RWB/CDM), good character/leadership qualities, comfortable on the ball, good passing range, decent defender. ✔ His versatility possibly held him back at City and loaned out for much of the time there but read that he performed well at most of his loan clubs. Would be an interesting signing. |

Yes but at least he took the loan opportunities rather than just taking a wage and he seems to have done quite well when on loan and Shrewsbury offered him a contract when released from City but he opted for France. |

A competent player but not an "improving player" at 27. Similar type of player to James Connolly. Scored 2 goals in 242 games. Expect better than this from an established central defender. Much rather spend our limited funds on a goal scorer. Billy Bodin is available from Oxford United. He is 32 so has some years left. Played 378 games now. Scored 80 goals in his career and has proved his fitness this season. Scored 9 in 41 in 2032/24 season. We need more attack minded players who know how to finish. |

What I said to someone off the forum was basically "Solid enough signing. Versatile and good enough to play and cover 2 or 3 positions. There are better CB's out-of-contract this summer and better RB's/RWB's too, but as a versatile squad option I'd take him if the wage wasn't prohibitive to also bringing in another first choice CB." At 27 a defender should be entering his prime years, so no issue there at all. Despite the alleged reasons for his Valenciennes departure, he has a reputation as a good character and trainer with leadership qualities, which is important around the squad too. I don't think the likes of Connolly have much of a future here and could see him being moved on, so we'll need options and Moore is an upgrade on Connolly. Of course we need attacking additions, but the defence needs strengthening and depth too. |
