I've always liked CB Jaroslaw Fojut whenever I've watched him, although I don't know whether he would be interested in a move here. As someone who knows nothing about Polish football, how well does the top flight over there stack up against other leagues? I remember this guy played in Scotland for a while a few years back. I've not watched much Polish football either, but he first impressed me years back during a spell at Luton where he played against us and handled Lambert quite well and I saw him at Dundee United where he also impressed. He's strong, dominant in the air, a good reader of the game and decent pace. His current club average about 5,700 fans.

David Henan could be a decent option. Out of contract in the summer.

Maidenhead United striker Josh Kelly is highly thought of at their club and could be a name to keep an eye on in the future. The 19-year-old has spent the season on loan at Walton Casuals and has impressed scoring 24 goals in 33 games and reportedly attracted scouts from the football league.

Nottingham Forest defender Matt Mills has been told he can leave the club by boss Aitor Karanka. At 31 and having plenty of experience of the division above, is this the sort of signing that we are looking out for? Swindon fans rate 19 year old Slovenian midfielder Timi Elsnik highly, might Derby County loan him to L1 perhaps to play him at a higher level? Saw him play for Swindon against Dartford in the FA cup and he looked a decent player, scored their opening goal too. Also just noticed that Luke Hyam isn't getting into the Ipswich side at the moment, could be a loan we could do if we are still looking for a CM in the last few days of the window. If DC is so desperate for permanent signings then potentially we could look at these types of loan deals that have an option of a permanent deal at the end of them? I mentioned Hyam on a different thread, would be a good signing. Not seen Elsnik, but I agree with kylegas regarding Matt Mills, wages would probably be too high for us, a good signing if we could get him though. Elsnik scored two today for Swindon as they came from 3-1 down to beat Crewe 4-3. Like I said, a talent to look out for.

David Henan could be a decent option. Out of contract in the summer. Looks to have terrific balance and could well become something. But that YT video is mainly a player shooting from positions he should not shoot in. I wonder if that’s a big consideration for scouts?

I did notice that too, something DC and Marcus could help him with I'm sure. Like you said, he looks to have good balance and the tools needed to become a good player. Whether he would be interested in a move is another matter, apparently he is available for transfer, but I've just read that a couple of top flight teams in France could be interested.

A player mentioned on another thread. Worth scouting/a trial. 21-year-old, 6ft 5in, centre back, Josh Heaton at Darlington.

Alessandro Mastalli would be worth scouting. He's a highly-rated, two footed, 21-year-old, 5ft 9in, former AC Milan youth captain and former Italy U19 international. Mainly plays in central midfield, but is versatile enough to play out wide and any midfield role. Made 1 Serie A appearance for AC Milan in 2015. Currently with 3rd tier side Juve Stabia, average 16/17 attendance 1,687. A team mate of his would be worth a look too. Luigi Canotto is a 23-year-old former Italian U19 international winger who can play either side and has 5 goals and 7 assists from 15 starts (5 sub apps) this season.

Another class act in Italy is 26-year-old winger or striker Manuel Fischnaller. He can play either side and likes a goal and an assist. He's a former Italian U20 international currently playing for 3rd tier side Alessandria.

29-year-old Marco Mancosu is another quality player in the Italian 3rd tier. The former Italian U21 international can play anywhere in midfield but is probably best centrally. So far this season he has scored 5 goals and created 8 assists from 23 appearances for Lecce.

Probably a bit unrealistic, but I wonder if the 22-year-old Estonian international Rauno Sappinen would be interested in a move if affordable? I'm sure there would be higher level interest, but you never know. He could use us as a stepping stone and put himself in the shop window.
He was the 2015 Estonian Young Footballer of the Year, 2017 Estonian league Player of the Year and the Estonian league Fans Player of the Year for 2015 and 2017. He has scored 80 goals and created 37 assists from 162 appearances for his side Flora and can play as a striker or in an attacking midfield/number 10 role.

I noticed Hyam came off the bench for them yesterday. If we couldn't get him then Flynn Downes would be decent on a loan. He's a bit more of an all rounder than Hyam with more attacking instincts...His game has been compared to Steven Gerrard style wise. I know DC said he wants permanent deals, but if all else fails then Downes would be quality until the summer if available.

This player looks a class act, although I don't know how realistic it would be for a League One side to sign him. Oscar Dorley is a 19-year-old Liberian international left footer who can play on the wings or in an attacking role upfront. He's got 11 goals and 14 assists from 50 appearances for his club Trakai in Lithuania.

Omar Bogle and Nathan Thomas both rumoured to be signing for Shrewsbury. Two excellent signings for them if true and will make it a tough game on Saturday. I guess it would also end the Taylor to Shrewsbury rumour.

I guess it would also end the Taylor to Shrewsbury rumour. They have done some good business in the past couple of windows. Fair play to Paul Hurst. I'd still like us to go and make them an offer for Bryn Morris. Would be a good signing.
