Saw a video of a young Arsenal player called Eddie Nketiya last night. Know anything about him Pirate? Very promising England youth striker. I've watched him a couple of times this season and saw him score a couple against Man Utd U23's on Monday - the first goal particularly impressive, he shielded the ball from the defender on the half way line, spins him, uses his strength to hold him off and runs through on goal and calmly slots it away. Scored a couple against Norwich in the league cup and has played for Arsenal in the Europa League. Quality player. I signed him on loan from Arsenal in football Manager and he’s scored the goals that took Rovers to the championship. He’s lightening fast strong and got great composure. Ellis and Gaf will do for now though lol.

I looked him up about a week ago and you're right, still not fixed up with a club. Not sure of the reason, but I'm surprised because on the couple of occasions I've seen he looked promising - good size, strong, decent pace. During his time at Newcastle he won the prestigious Wor Jackie award at the Sport Newcastle awards and was tipped by Pardew as a potential first teamer. Even his then manager Bruno Ribeiro at Port Vale said: "For me he is a top player and can play in the Premier League. He has the quality for that."

I said we should sign him in the summer, not so sure now as he has not played since May!
very strange that he hasn't got a new club though. Good age, height etc
His brother Cameron Streete is pretty tidy too by all accounts, currently at Djurgardens, Sweden

They must get it from their father Floyd, who played for Wolves and a few other clubs. If I was a league one club and needed a defender I'd be on the phone to him straight away. Not only is he a good defender, he can also get a goal or two as well.

This lad looks a tremendous prospect, it might be unrealistic to be able to sign him now, but maybe on a loan in the future.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him ending up playing for a team in the States which starts in March, he could do worse than give Stewie Campbell a call and get some Florida sun - Ill be watching them on April 21st v Real Monarchs SLC!!

He might already have something lined up, but would be a good signing for Cams. He could link up with Neill Collins and Tamika Mkandawire, not to mention Joe Cole, who all play for the Rowdies. Hope you enjoy the game mate, I'm jealous!

That's partly the reason i'm going to the game, plus I know the monarchs manager Mark Briggs.
Heard this is a player to keep an eye on in case things don't work out over there.

He sounds decent and apparently also trialled at Aston Villa and Manchester City. Hope you enjoy the game.

This player would be worth monitoring if he was prepared to play in League One. He's currently in the 2nd tier in Portugal playing in front of about 1,500 fans every other week.

Pirate do you know whats happening with Remi Streete, doesn't appear to have signed for anyone since leaving Port Vale in the summer? Unfortunately a chronic injury has made it very difficult for him to continue playing. His last manager was quoted as saying he'd be lucky to last one more season in the game and that seems to be borne out by the fact he hasn't picked up another club since being released by Vale.

If that is the case then it's a real shame for him. He's still only 23 and a talent. The injury didn't seem to affect him a great deal last season as he played 42 games and scored 6 goals. Hopefully the game hasn't seen the last of him and he can get back out on the pitch.

26-year-old Loic Chatton is currently playing in the Swiss 4th tier and would be worth scouting with a view to next season. The former Swiss U20 international can play on either wing or upfront and currently has 14 goals and 6 assists from 11 starts (1 sub app). Out of contract at the end of the season.

He was actually linked with loads of good clubs over the summer (Wigan, Pompey, Shrewsbury) but presumably wouldn't have passed a medical. I don't know the exact extent of his injury. Hopefully, like you say, he'll be able to make his way back into the game.

I don't know if they would be interested in a move to England/League One, but would definitely be worth an enquiry and scouting. Andrea Mazzarani, 27-year-old, 5ft 11in, midfielder, Catania. A former Italian U19 international (5 caps, 1 goal) and U20 international (12 caps, 1 goal). He has previously played 20 times in Serie A, scoring 1 goal and creating 3 assists. He has also previously made 165 appearances in Serie B, scoring 34 times and creating 12 assists. Currently playing for 3rd tier side Catania (average 16/17 attendance 7,550), he scored 9 goals in 29 appearances from midfield during the 16/17 season. Contract until: 30.06.2018. I watched Mazzarani score another goal today and it reminded me of another player at Catania that would be worth looking at; 21-year-old 6ft 5in centre back Luka Bogdan has helped Catania keep 13 clean sheets from 21 games he has played in this season. He's a former Croatia U19 international.

26-year-old 6ft defensive midfielder Robert Gucher is decent. He currently plays for Pisa in the Italian 3rd tier. He's a former Austria U20 international.
