25-year-old Martin Demic would be worth a look. He has 17 goals and 12 assists from 44 appearances for his side SV Leobendorf in the Austrian 4th tier. He can play anywhere in midfield.

26-year-old right back Ties Evers is a good player. Currently at 2nd tier Dutch side FC Volendam, he has made 137 appearances in the 2nd tier Jupiler League and 32 appearances in the top flight Eredivisie. He's a former Netherlands U18/U19/U20/U21 international. Out of contract at the end of the season.

I noticed Tripy Makonda is available on a free transfer. The 28-year-old former France U21 international played 37 times for Académica Coimbra in the Portuguese 2nd tier last season. He can play as a left back/wing back or as a defensive midfielder.

27-year-old left back Dennis Iapichino at Siena in the Italian 3rd tier is worth scouting. He is a former Switzerland U20 international and has also played in the MLS for Montreal Impact and D.C. United. Out of contract in the summer.

This 6ft 3in striker looks a player. Seifedin Chabbi has scored 18 goals in 21 games for 2nd tier Austrian side SV Ried. He's a 24-year-old former Austria U19 international.

Isn't it time this thread was moved to General Chat as it no longer seems a "wishlist" for Rovers signings?

Another Austrian player that has caught my eye is 21-year-old striker Marco Hödl at 3rd tier side USK Anif. He has scored 20 goals in 21 appearances for them in total.
He previously scored 27 goals in 26 appearances for the Red Bull Salzburg U16 side and 20 goals in 32 appearances for the Red Bull Salzburg U18 side.
He has represented Austria at U16 level (12 goals in 17 apps), U17 level (1 goal in 5 apps) and U19 level (1 goal in 2 apps).

I see pirates number one target Corey Whitely signed for ebsfleet on Friday and scored on his debut too. Ebbsfleet pay good wages. Apparently Dagenham turned down a bid from a League One side for him last month. They have lost a financial backer and have been forced to get rid of the likes of captain Scott Doe, Morgan Ferrier, Sam Ling and Whitely due to subsequent financial difficulties.

Thanks pirate for that about Whitely, I hadn’t seen it. If D/R have lost a big backer in their second year out of the league makes DCs achievements in getting us out at first attempt even more important. Makes me shiver at the thought of what might have happened if Lee M had missed that penalty. UTG!

Yes it was worth reading pirate. I only know what I see and read so I don’t have your background knowledge of football finances and club workings but it appears that if clubs drop out of the football league then they need to get back in as soon as possible. Chester, Stockport didn’t and it looks like Leyton O, Hartlepool and D/R are places where things are going to get worse before they get better. The ownership of some of these clubs seem very unstable and that can’t help especially where there’s a rift with the supporters. And that’s even without mentioning Torquay and York. Tranmere and Wrexham may have turned the corner and be on their way back with Aldershot. Either way it looks like we dodged the bullet here. Reading that article made me think there were a lot of parallels between D/R and us in 2014 and but for the grace of someone we could be there. Probably won’t be a popular thing to say but when you read that you have to think that perhaps Nick Higgs deserves a lot of credit for sticking with us, having a very thick skin and taking all the criticism that he did and seeing us into calmer times. I’m sure others would have a different opinion but the fact remains when you compare us with others we really did survive the 2014/2015 years and grow stronger. Thanks for the article. UTG!

Could released 20-year-old Swansea player Owain Jones be worth looking at in pre-season? He has represented Wales at U16/U17/U19/U21 level and was named Swansea City U18 Player of the Year for 14/15 after scoring 36 goals in 48 appearances. He can play on either wing or as a striker and played a couple of games on loan at Yeovil last season. This lad will be worth monitoring. He has recently signed for Merthyr Town in the Southern League and scored a spectacular debut goal on Saturday.

Pirate, Marc Richards is on fire 7 in 7 would have been a good sub, despite you thinking he was over the hill 😂 He's always been a decent League Two striker, but struggled at this level. 1 goal in 19 League One games this season and 28 goals in 128 games in total at League One level.

I realise the video is selective but the lad seems to have a natural ability to finish his chances. Deffo one worth keeping an eye on.
