21-year-old Sutton Utd striker Tommy Wright is someone worth keeping an eye on. I'm sure DC is aware of him after he scored 52 goals in all competitions on loan for Salisbury last season. So far this season he has scored 11 goals in 17 starts (12 sub apps) in the National League.

Another player worth scouting in the National League is 20-year-old central midfielder Adam McDonnell at Aldershot. He signed with Ipswich Town from Shelbourne in August 2014, having previously had trials at Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers and played twice for Ipswich in the Championship. He has represented Ireland from U16-U19 level and has scored 5 goals and created 3 assists from 20 appearances so far this season for Aldershot. www.eadt.co.uk/sport/adam-mcdonnell-can-make-it-in-the-championship-after-leaving-ipswich-town-1-5378232

A couple of players I reckon are worth considering with a view to the summer are the Dutch duo of Leon de Kogel and Matthew Steenvoorden. Both are out of contract at the end of the season.
Leon de Kogel is a 26-year-old, 6ft 4in, striker, currently playing for Cornellà in the Spanish third tier. He is a former Netherlands U21 international who previously scored 42 goals in 94 games in the Dutch second tier.
Matthew Steenvoorden is a 25-year-old, 6ft 2in, centre back or defensive midfielder, currently playing for SC Cambuur in the Dutch second tier. He's a former Netherlands U19 international.

A few more players worth tracking that I reckon would do well for us...
Brice Ntambwe, 24-year-old, 6ft 2in, defensive midfielder, currently playing for Lierse SK in the Belgium 2nd tier. He is a former Belgium U21 international. Was on the books of Birmingham City for a few years. Contracted until 30.06.2018
Willi Evseev, 26-year-old, 5ft 9in, central midfielder, currently playing for Hansa Rostock in the German 3rd tier. He is a former Germany U18 international. So far during the 17/18 season he has scored 6 goals and created 5 assists from 18 appearances in all competitions.
Nigel Robertha, 20-year-old, 5ft 11in, striker, currently playing for SC Cambuur In the Dutch second tier. He is a former Netherlands U18 international. He has scored 7 goals in 16 first team appearances so far this season.

22-year-old Fejiri Okenabirhie is likely to be the next player from Dagenham and Redbridge to step up. The England C international can play as a winger or striker. He has 16 goals and 10 assists from 58 appearances for Dagenham.

20-year-old Finland U21 winger Santeri Hostikka could be worth scouting and an enquiry. Currently playing for FC Lahti in his home country. Out of contract on 31.12.2018. This lad looks like a talent. He scored a couple of good goals yesterday to help his side win 2-1 (see below) and has a total record of 12 goals and 16 assists from 67 starts. Rovers should also scout 18-year-old midfielder Onni Valakari at Turun Palloseura (TPS). He's a Finland u19 international and the son of former Derby and Motherwell player Simo Valakari.

Has Brian Dutton made any progress on overseas recruitment, I recall DC saying he would be charged with identifying players from abroad who would suit Rovers' playing style. I know he had a week in Spain just after he was recruited but wonder if this avenue for recruitment is still being perused?

I hope we are looking at the foreign market, there might be better value to be had if we do our due diligence. The lad Funso Ojo for Scunthorpe looked a good player yesterday. They got him on a free in the summer after his contract ran out in Holland.

I wouldn't mind us taking a closer look at Drazen Bagaric in a trial if he was willing. He is a 25-year-old 6ft 4in winger or striker currently without a club. A former Croatia U21 international. Looks a handful.

Talking of Croatians, these players would also be worth scouting.

Another class act in Italy is 26-year-old winger or striker Manuel Fischnaller. He can play either side and likes a goal and an assist. He's a former Italian U20 international currently playing for 3rd tier side Alessandria. This lad really is a quality player IMHO. I reckon with his style of play he would suit the English game and would become a real fans favourite. He would suit playing in a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3, either in a central role or wide. He has scored 9 goals and created 4 assists from just 9 starts (15 sub apps) so far this season. He previously scored 34 goals in 95 appearances for his former club FC Südtirol. Here are a couple examples of some of his goals this season: Outstanding finishes at 23 seconds with right foot and 1.52mins with his left

A couple of good players out of contract at the end of the season that are worth scouting that could potentially score goals for us at this level. Ones for Dubey to analyse perhaps?
Streli Mamba is a 23-year-old, 5ft 9in, striker, currently playing for Energie Cottbus in the German fourth tier. So far during the 17/18 season he has scored 14 goals and created 5 assists from 17 appearances in all competitions.
Rufat Dadashov is 26-year-old, 6ft 2in, striker, currently playing for BFC Dynamo in the German fourth tier. So far during the 17/18 season he has scored 21 goals from 21 games in all competitions. He has represented Azerbaijan at international level, scoring 4 goals from 12 appearances.
