17 goals in all competitions this season is a fantastic return. He's out of contract in the summer. Their left back/wing back Luke Leahy is another player I like.

I’d love us to sign him but not sure who he’d replace , our best passer of the ball in lines or our best midfielder in sercombe. Lines Sercombe and otzumer in the middle with Partington or Clarke holding could be great. Either way he’ll go to a championship club and I don’t think we’ll be one of them.

I'm happy enough with the ones we've got, but a few keepers that would be on my radar anyway.

I'll be watching the Milan derby tomorrow evening at the San Siro. Will report back with transfer targets!

20-year-old Finland U21 winger Santeri Hostikka could be worth scouting and an enquiry. Currently playing for FC Lahti in his home country. Out of contract on 31.12.2018. This lad looks like a talent. He scored a couple of good goals yesterday to help his side win 2-1 (see below) and has a total record of 12 goals and 16 assists from 67 starts. Rovers should also scout 18-year-old midfielder Onni Valakari at Turun Palloseura (TPS). He's a Finland u19 international and the son of former Derby and Motherwell player Simo Valakari. Another talented compatriot of Hostikka's in Finland is Juho Hyvärinen at Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS). He is only 17-years-old and can play in either full back position, although primarily a right back. I don't know how realistic it would be to sign him, but if possible would be worth scouting and an enquiry. Looks a very promising player.

A strong holding CM with all the attributes to suit English football in my opinion. A couple of early suggestions for the summer from England are Joss Labadie and Matt Godden who are both out of contract in the summer at their respective clubs. Another to enquire about is Ian Henderson from Rochdale if they go down and similarly Robbie Muirhead from MK dons who I think is a decent player.

From League 1 players, and a realistic target for us , then yes Henderson would be an excellent signing. Scores goals, very comfortable on the ball and gets through a lot of work. The trouble is I have this nagging feeling that Rochdale are going to stay up, so what what chance he would go then to another L1 club ?

Had no idea he is 33 - certainly moves around like a much younger player. forget that then.

Funnily enough, I've seen that video before and thought he might be worth scouting and a closer look. Good shout. Other players from the clubs potentially relegated that might be worth considering are Jay O'Shea, George Williams, Chuks Aneke, Ed Upson and Callum Camps.

Yeah just one of a couple of players from Eastern Europe that I was having a look at. I'd probably add to that list Andy Cannon, Danny Mayor and Kristian Dennis from L2 strugglers Chesterfield.

He's their current Academy Player of the Year.

I'd love to see how Fylde's all time record goalscorer Danny Rowe would get on at a higher level. Apparently Oldham had a £50,000 bid rejected in the summer. The 27-year-old holds the ball up well and scores all types of goals - headers, tap ins, 30 yarders, penalties, freekicks. As an 11-year-old he was apparently scoring something like 100 goals a season before he joined Manchester United from Preston as a 12-year-old for a fee of £136,000. United released him at the age of 16 and he drifted into non-league, playing for a few clubs, but at Fylde he has really come into his own and has been in nothing short of sensational goalscoring form ever since. He finished the 14/15 season with 31 goals in all competitions, in 15/16 he got 24 goals and last season he got an incredible 50 goals. So far this season he has scored 19 goals (including a couple against Wigan) from 31 appearances and also chipped in with 8 assists. I wonder if anyone will take a punt on him this summer? He scored a perfect hat-trick yesterday (left foot, right foot, header) against Aldershot to take his tally this season to 26 goals (10 assists) from 40 appearances. www.thenationalleague.org.uk/match-info/match-centre/1-2849852--------------------- I also see the lad Patrick Schmidt scored another goal in Germany to take his total to 19 goals from 26 appearances. A good striker out of contract at the end of the season who would suit English football IMHO. Edit: Striker Streli Mamba and midfielder Nick Brisevac also scored goals in Germany today. Both good players out of contract that would suit us, do well in English football and could potentially be worth big money in the future.

Mohamed Eisa got his 17th league goal of the season at the weekend. Only 23 years old and already in close proximity to Bristol, I’d be very surprised if we’re not having a look at him. He turns 24 in July, does that mean we’d be able to get him for no fee if he’s out of contract?

Gary Johnson said: "Some League One clubs who are tracking him won’t be able to afford him, no chance. It could be either a big League One club or the one in the Championship. We won’t sell unless it’s big money."
