27-year-old winger/striker Yacine Qasmi is pretty decent and would be worth a closer look. The former Morocco U20/U23 player is currently at Spanish 3rd tier side UD Melilla and is out of contract on 30.06.2018. One for Brian Dutton to look at perhaps. Another good season for Qasmi as he sits top of the Segunda Division B - Grupo IV (3rd tier) goalscorers chart for a team that average just under 1,300 fans.

Another good performance and the winning goal against MK Dons on Saturday. A fantastic prospect and quality player already. CheshireLive sports editor Peter Morse said: "the toe poke was actually a super piece of skill which left the keeper no chance due to its power and the disguise created by a complete lack of back-lift." Back in November his manager said: "He’s going to be a good player because he is a good player, it’s as simple as that." He added: "There’s no getting around the fact that he is a top player with outrageous skills. "One of the pros I spoke to (on Monday) said 'when I first came to the club, he actually scared me – that’s how good he was'.

We can wish all we like but two loans is all we are going to get. A couple of 20 year olds with zero first team experience from an U21 set up will be the best we can hope for and will be the final spin of the dice to retain league 1 status. Shameful is the word that comes to mind. 3 or 4 decent loans could make a big impact on this team. Quality from the likes of Elias Sorensen, Stephen Walker, Harry Chapman, Ryan Yates, Danny Loader, Niall Ennis, Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, Aaron Lewis, Sam Hughes, Cian Harries etc. Scunthorpe United are keen on taking Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates on loan, as reported by Scunthorpe Live. footballleagueworld.co.uk/efl-side-eyeing-move-for-nottingham-forest-player/

A couple of good players that can play wide that potentially would be decent loan signings. Arvin Appiah at Nottingham Forest and Stephen Walker at Middlesbrough. Walker Walker being linked with a move to the Prem in the future. Considering he has hardly played this season for their first team and wasn't in the squad at the weekend, I would still make an enquiry about taking him on loan. Would give us an option to play on the wing or as a striker. the72.co.uk/123411/promising-young-middlesbrough-striker-interesting-several-premier-league-clubs/

Appiah not even in the Nottingham Forest squad at the weekend. Got to be worth a loan enquiry. Going to be a top, top player. Here he is scoring for one of the England youth sides back in October:

A player I like in the National League North is Matty Warburton at Stockport County who can play as a centre forward, in a wider role in a three or as a ‘Number 10’. He joined County after scoring 13 goals in 16 appearances for Curzon Ashton and last season he scored 21 goals in 45 appearances to help fire County into the end-of-season Play Offs. Got 17 goals in all comps so far this season. Good technically, an eye for goal off both feet and a free kick specialist. Won the goal of the season award for County and had two others in the running 4 goals on Sat v Truro, including 2 good finishes with left foot Free kick v Yeovil HITC Sport understands a host of Football League clubs are chasing Stockport sensation Matty Warburton. A number of League One and League Two clubs are weighing up moves for prolific Stockport County star Matty Warburton, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club. www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/21/por-clubs-circle-for-stockport-star-warburton/

After seeing Andy Cook do well, I think we need to consider these sorts of signings.

After seeing Andy Cook do well, I think we need to consider these sorts of signings. He's more than good enough to step up. A really classy striker. Another lad at County good enough to play at a higher level is their 17/18 Young Player of the Year, left back Scott Duxbury. When he was younger he spent time at Blackburn, Burnley and Preston, but was released from Preston as a 16-year-old. Has the potential to make us some money as I believe he would attract interest from higher within a year or so if he performs how I think he can and develops further.

A player I think should be monitored very closely and would be worth a trial is 20-year-old winger or striker Lewis Archer at Hednesford Town who looks a very good prospect. I saw him score two goals against Aston Villa in the Birmingham Senior Cup Quarter Final last night, the first a penalty he won and converted and the 2nd a very good finish (see below). Big, strong and with blistering pace. He also scored this beauty earlier in the season: And this good finish too:
...and a couple of other good goals as well:

I mentioned David Ajiboye at Worthing, but I reckon their 27-year-old 6ft 4in goalkeeper Lucas Covolan would be worth monitoring too when he recovers from injury. He is a former Brazil U20 international. I'm watching Chelsea vs Tottenham tonight and he reminds me a bit of Paulo Gazzaniga, the former Gillingham man in goal for Spurs. Covolan should be back playing from his injury within the next couple of weeks and worth scouting.

Our owners to realise owning a lg1 elf club means your VERY unlikely to make money and EVOLUTION whilist having a home thats just about league standard isnt going to work. Most fans want some STRAIGHT TALKING and CLARITY as in my opinion with have had neither!

The Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun would do well for us if we could get him on loan.

A recommendation I'd have would be 22 year old Maidstone United left back George McLennan. He's been their stand out player in a dire season for the stones, winning December player of the month and putting in some excellent performances. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up the football pyramid sooner rather than later, I'd rather these kind of signings to a premier league loan.
Another national league left back that I would recommend would be Dagenham and Redbridge's Liam Gordon. Only 19 and already found his way into the daggers starting 11. Saw him earlier on the season and was impressed by what I saw. Found his way forced out the team but has since come back in and done well from what I gather, decent little player hope someone recognises his potential.
We've only got one left back, if we are playing THD as a winger, so I think this is an area we need to look at, especially if interest in Kelly materialises.

One of the reasons I mentioned Scott Duxbury at Stockport County previously. A good player capable of playing much higher, who would probably make us a few quid in the future if he continues his development. If we went down the loan route then I would look at the likes of Josh Tymon (Stoke), Lewis Gordon (Watford), Ryan Giles (Wolves), Adam Lewis (Liverpool), Yasser Larouci (Liverpool), Brandon Williams (Man Utd), Jake Vokins (Southampton) and Luke Thomas (Leicester).
