DC won't take any risks with players at this stage. They might just have tight muscles or a slight twinge etc. If so they won't play in games. Hopefully they will be part of the squad soon.

Bodin confirmed on twitter that he will be wearing the number 10 shirt next season. Lee Mansell's number 7 shirt has been reassigned to sercombe.

Incredible that Burn and Partington are injured ... How exactly ? They haven't played a handful of games for us between them. Burn has been a bit of a bizarre signing so far. I could hardly tell you anything about his ability/attributes. You posted "call yourself a fan" when I posted similar comments 😉

Burn has been a bit of a bizarre signing so far. I could hardly tell you anything about his ability/attributes. I saw his first half at Coventry, he looked pretty solid tbh, big, strong, good in the air and had a fair turn of pace! After he went off I thought that's when the game changed, he was highly thought of at Middlesborough as well. Just hope he gets a good preseason under his belt, he could be a big player for us next season ! It didn't help we then had to play with two LB's and one of those was the mainly useless Bob Harris! From memory Locks was all over the place again in the first half, he really struggled whenever Sweeney was missing last season.

No Melksham are two leagues below Yate which is why I find the squad split strange. Melksham are on league bellow Yate and on paper probably have a stronger side. The above post is #FakeNews. Never should have used CNN for my non-league research

Of course it might be that DC has half a dozen trialists lined upto play in the centre back positions but has chosen not to list them on the web .... It's stated there are 4 trialists playing at Melksham. Who knows what positions. CB seems a fair bet. Are they the U21 internationals that Clarke referred to?

It certainly didn't, it was probably the most turgid game of last season, a waste of a great day out ! I think TL will be fine if he has someone similar next to him, it allows him to play to his best! Shame we won't be able to get him back for next year!

Bit of a difference between not even knowing who one of our players is and knowing a player but knowing little about their ability due to their limited game time.

I think that he game changing was more to do with having to play a LB at CB though.

If anyone is going to Melksham try and find out the names of the four trialists. Looks like two of the trialists at Melksham are Lewis Hall and Tom Broadbent according to Keith Brookmans twitter. There is a Lewis Hall who was released from City a few years ago now plays for Gloucester:
