Anyone got a link to footage of Rovers 4-0 city from 1992? It was on the TV, so there must be some fairly good footage out there, but I can't find it anywhere.
I'm educating the kids in the close season!

Yep, we've already enjoyed that one! Looking for 13/12/92, one of Malcolm Allison's games, Rovers scored four world-ies, as I recall, was a Sunday lunchtime game on HTV.

Would also love to see Rovers v Oxford 14/1/95 if anyone can find it, again drawing a blank. Rovers were 2 down after 10 minutes, in that 10 minutes Oxford hit the woodwork as well, if I remember right. Rovers came back with goals through Gareth Taylor, Paul Miller and Marcus Stewart, I think all in the second half, my Dad took me to the game when I was a kid, we would of been at the end where all the goals were scored. Anyone else remember the game?

I think that highlights part of the trouble finding the right video, we gave them so many good beatings in the 80's and 90's; the only thing they gave a beating to was the advertising boards.

Thanks jerrythegas. What a game, what a day, as good as I remember it. "We beat the city four nil, we beat the city four nil, we beat the city four nil, FOUR NIL..." sang that for weeks and months after, living in a largely city fan area. It wasn't the best season but that is still a day I treasure, and it kept the city fans a bit quieter than they would of been otherwise.

Fantastic afternoon, four goals past the teds, best part of an hour doing our best to wind the teds up as much as poss, back up the pub afterwards, early 90s were a great time to be a youngish gashead, proper footie, proper ground and always a good crack with some lads who are sadly no longer here.

They couldn't handle big Dev. That ball through for Boris's winner is a thing of beauty. The old man had to talk me in to going, very glad he did, thought Devon had one of his best games that night, scored two and an assist. Involved in the other too. Also his defensive headers he was like another centreback.
