Don't mean to rude but where is Weal's statement regarding the UWE, been a couple of days and feel it's damn disrespect to us the paying supporters. Only in football are customers treated so poorly. Bet they'd be a statement if no one turned up for the next home game or two without the Tatchers end singing Wael gis'a wave! Disgraceful.

Maybe someone should send you to your room and take your internet access away for a few days?

He's on radio Bristol next Saturday with are Geoff live 1:45 I think he said. I would rather here him speak than vague statements. I was hoping we had found our left winger with this title thread.

Wael prefers to have his chairman/spokesman steve hamer to do his talking. Thats his way of doing things good or bad in my opinion. If you dont go v peterborough it will only be 8,999 instead of 9,000 so come on dont spoil things.

He retired from football in 2002, Rovers being his final club, and according to Wikipedia he is head of languages at Aston Villa's Academy and coaches the U14s.

In fact I'm finding this attitude of a section of our support wanting to know the inns and outs of every decision a little annoying. Walk up to Wael or Steve or whoever next Tuesday/Saturday and ask them!

This episode has certainly shown who are the strong fans and who are the weak ones. After hearing all the interviews my view is that the present regime had to overcome the previous regimes contract with UWE. We are seeking a better one for our club and ito long term future so isn't that better? All this fear talk about everyone leaving isn't based on fact and is counter productive, what is the point of that? My advice to the weak who have an immature need to call owners and employees of our club names is to be strong, stop moaning think positive and support the club as well as the team.

I think Wael was on holiday when the plug was pulled on UWE so unavailable according to Twentyman.

If he plans to be at The Valley today, I would have thought he'd have given himself a chance of a better day out had he announced something positive before the game (if indeed there is anything!) You know when the kids keep asking you the same question...that's the sort of afternoon Wael's looking at!

RE - the bit in bold. The fear is based on the very clear fact that Dwayne Sports have placed a charge against the Mem. The spending we are seeing is not from the AQs injecting money that they are prepared to lose. At any point the debt can be called in, and that will leave the club homeless. I don't think fans are being weak for recognising this. I think we are realising that serious questions need to be asked We as a fanbase can't afford to be apathetic. If the worse were to happen I couldn't sleep at night feeling I saw it coming but decided to say nothing in favour if "keeping the faith". EDIT: Probably worth saying I don't agree with the way many fans are expressing concern. We need to keep it respectable.

There was no contract and whatever was agreed clearly had to be renegotiated once we lost the Sainsburys money, but why pretend for 18 months talks were progressing well when they clearly weren't? Although I feel it's an utter disgrace we're reverting to calling Wael Wally, just like the OTIB do, and this thread should really be retitled by the mods.

I'd rather honest, valuable information over positive spin. The real stuff is less frequent which is where the frustration is coming from.

According to our Chairperson on 20man we came close to signing twice only for UWE to change something.......
