Port Vale have received a warning from the Football Association after trouble with supporters at home games last season. Chairman Tony Fradley has revealed the FA has been in touch with the Valiants regarding matches, in particular the games against Sheffield United, Bolton and Bristol Rovers. Fradley stresses that the issues were with supporters generally and not necessarily Vale fans. But he says the Valiants have received a 'yellow card' from the FA. He has decided to reveal the news to try to avoid more problems this season which could lead to Vale being disciplined by the FA. Speaking in his matchday programme notes, Fradley said: "As a custodian of this football club, of which I am a very proud and privileged supporter, it would be remiss of me not to inform you of things that affect the club from a functional point of view.
