Slocombe 7 nearly caught with the ball at his feet otherwise did well Partington 7 couple of great crosses and a better all round game Lockyer 8 back to his best my mom Sweeney 7.5 solid, a couple off iffy passes Brown 7.5 did his defending well Sinclair 7 scored and was working hard until injured O. Clarke 5 not at his best Sercombe 6.5 played ok, not such a goal threat today Bodin 7 another beautiful strike Gaffney 7 worked hard and a nice knock down for sincs goal Nichols 5 found it hard to get in the game Subs: Lines 7 much improved from the Posh game Harrison 7.5 made a big difference up front and in defence winning headers, really good run to the near post and finish Moore 6 did ok Crowd 8 Ref 5 some odd decisions and missed what looked a blatant handball which would have been a pen Fleetwood 6 big side and looked like getting something second half until Ellis killed them off

Slocombe 7 Solid, a little bit array with his kicking Partington 8.5 MOM continued his good performance at Bury Brown 7 Caught out a few times but excellent attack wise Lockyer 7.5 Solid and dependable Sweeney 7.5 as above Sinclair 7 usual performance good goal Bodin 8 always a threat our bit of quality Sercombe 7.5 hell of a player Gaffney 8 a constant irritation to Fleetwood Nichols 7 played OK in not his best position, will improve and score more O Clarke 7 battled hard but not always effective
Harrison 8 What a turnaround as good as he was Tuesday night, two brilliant defensive headers and covered the defence, oh and he scored!!! Moore 6.5 short cameo Lines 8 Made a difference when he came on
Ref 5 missed a pen for us, a few strange decisions. Booked Ollie Clarke for a fantastic tackle! DC 10 got it right again Fleetwood 5 will be there or thereabouts, we made them look ordinary at times Crowd 7 nervously quiet at times
Great performance considering the efforts on Tuesday! We may not win all our games but we are a good team. Big test at Bradford with our two king pin central defenders out but Broadbent and Burn will have a chance to shine. UTG

Slocombe 7 a good confident display Partington 8.5 MoM getting fitter getting better, i now see what we paid good money for! Lockyer 7.5 looks like he's back to near his best Sweeney 7 one or two minor ditherings but got most things right Brown 7 steady game as usual Sinclair 7 scored the first and was doing fine until his early departure O. Clarke 6 the least effective of the midfield today Sercombe 7.5 here there and everywhere Bodin 8 another great goal,I hope he's still with us this time next week! Gaffney 7 worked his socks off Nichols 5.5 not a good game, worked hard and hopefully the goals will come Subs: Lines 7 looked good, with the arrival of Sercombe Linsey sits deeper with good effect Harrison 7.5 he's full of confidence and looks a completely different player Moore 7 did well in his short time on Crowd 7 a reasonable turn out on a sunny bank holiday Ref 5 gave a few dodgy decisions for both sides, missed a blatant handball Fleetwood 6 a big strong side who will bully many sides but couldn't cope with our class.

So combe 7 steady but lucky with ball at feet in first half Partington 8 didn't put a foot wrong Lockyer 8 bad to his best Sweeney 7.5 getting back to last season's form Brown 7.5 consistency is his middle name Bodin 8 scored a cracker looked likely to score regularly M.O.M. Sinclair 6 scored simplementation goal ran around a lot Sercombe 8 adds pace and drive to midfield Clarke 7.5 did the job he was there to do.simple and strong Gaffney 6 set up first goal but largely anonymous Nicholls 5 made up the numbers
Lines 8 changed complexion of the game when he came on Harrison 8 took goal well unlucky with shot keeper put over the bar. Put defence under constant pressure and made 2 important defensite clearances
Moore 6 interesting cameo
Referee 6 no better or worse than we usually get Was level with claimed hand ball which wasnthe it hit defendereply just below his shoulder

Slocombe 6.5. Steady display apart from the mistake in the first half that almost gave a goal away
Partington 6.5. Good assists but tended to give his winger too much space Lockyer 7.5. Good performace Sweeney 7. Occasionally uncertain but overall a good performance Brown 6.
Sinclair 6 O. Clarke 6 some good moments but not as effective as last season Sercombe 6.5
Bodin 7.5. His goals and influence can not be underestimated Gaffney 7. Battled well against big strong defenders Nichols 6.
Subs: Lines 7. Best of the midfield Harrison 8. We were under pressure when he came on. Scored and had another shot well saved. Did sterling work at the centre of defence at corners and even once popped up at right back. Moore 6.

My opinions from the game:
Slocombe 7 Couple of decent saves and took crosses well
Partington 8.5 Put in crosses for two of the goals and defended well especially from corners. Lockyer 8 Solid performance and had to cut out a couple of dangerous opposition crosses Sweeney 5.5 I thought he was a liability defensively. Wasn't just one or two times either but gave the ball away in dangerous position Brown 6.5 Okay game
Sinclair 7 Hadn't done too much in the game before his well-taken goal O. Clarke 5.5 Off day for him as he struggled to impose himself on the game Sercombe 8 Impresses me more and more each game. Does the simple things well
Bodin 8 Another impressive goal and linked up well with Gaffney. Put in a shift defensively as well Gaffney 7.5 Wasn't going to win much in the air against Fleetwood's defence but Nichols 6 Worked hard but nothing really fell for him
Subs: Lines 6.5 Made some good passes Harrison 8 Great all round performance Moore 6 Actually took his man on for once and won a corner from it

We started the game with the "dogs of war" midfield that was all over them like a rash choking their creativity. It paid dividends with a hard working but well contrived goal. However, the unfortunate injury to Sinclair, who did his groin, changed the nature of the game. Lines replaced the beard and Fleetwood were expecting more of the same which meant they gave Linesy more elbow room to work his "quarterback" magic, immediately pinging out the best two passes of the game and stretching the play making life uncomfortable for their back three. Parts and Browner got more room out wide and Gaffney and Bodin started to find the pockets in which to work an opening. Harrison made a difference too when he came on, which is exactly what you want your tactical substitutions to do. Consequently we ran out comfortable winners and made a good side look ordinary.
Slocombe 7 Partington 7.5 Brown 7 Lockyer 7 Sweeney 6.5 Clarke(O) 6 Sinclair 7 Sercombe 7 Nichols 6 Gaffney 7.5 Bodin 7.5
Lines MOTM 8.5 Harrison 8 Moore 6

Slocombe 7 Competent
Partington 8 Composed defending decent crossing Lockyer 8 Much better with Partington at RB rather than the half fit Leads Sweeney 6 Most of Fleetwoods threat was aimed at him and Brown and it showed Brown 6.5 Better passing than Sweeney hence the extra half mark.
Sinclair 7 Six for the usual workrate + 1 for the goal. O. Clarke 7 All round good performance Sercombe 7.5 Workrate of the Beard, skill of Lines
Bodin 8 Gareth Bale of L1 Gaffney 7 Whole hearted, made the first goal Nichols 6 Probably the only player I would swap with his Fleetwood counterpart
Subs: Lines 7 Decent defending and usual long pass accuracy Harrison 8.5 Besides putting Fleetwood under a lot of pressure, I thought he was Rovers best defender in the last ten minutes. MoM Moore 6.5 I guess this means not on long enough
Crowd 8 Something to cheer about so we did Ref 5 Nothing that altered the result Fleetwood 6 Expected more, but I guess that was down to Rovers
