Like everyone, I'm always on the lookout to see if I can make a bob or two here and there. Now, this coming Sunday, 70,000 people are being evacuated from their homes in Frankfurt because building work has unearthed a bloody gert big 1.8 tonne British bomb ! Unexploded British bomb in Frankfurt
Now, what do you think if I were to arrive at the cordon, with a load of little British Union Flags to sell to people so they can wave them as the bomb is taken away?

Marvellous, cheers Nobby. Are you there on business or pleasure? Pleasure, actually going to Augsburg about 2 hours from Munich. Out there for a week for the Americano show, the biggest western horse riding show outside of the USA it's on every 2 years a brilliant show! I can play at being a cowboy for a week lol!

Two weeks of Bareback Mountain stuff eh?
Augsburg is a nice place. The Germans really have a thing about Cowboy's and Indians. Near me is a rented allotment(*) which is fitted out with Western style buildings, a Western style water pump thingy, with the Confederate Flag flying all year round! It's a mini Western town!
* - In Germany people rent these 'allotment' places. They can be very big, maybe 100yds long by 40yds wide. Most people living here in the cities live in apartments, so they rent these land areas for use on the weekends, especially if they have kids.

Yep Augsburgs great, lovely square there when you get off the train. The last time we went there we were pi$$ed before we checked in the hotel across the road, in the station bar! It was some feat dragging those cases across the cobbles after a few steins! I do like the Germans and they certainly like a drink, fair play!

It would have been a nice touch, if the RAF could have arranged for a Lancaster bomber to circle overhead, as the device was made safe.
