Think I'd prefer to see Andre on the bench instead of Smith based on what happened on Tuesday! Pleased to see Bola getting a start, think Browner could do with a break. Would like to see Telford come on in place of Harrison later in the match. UTG! re keepers - in terms of man management it's a big of a no-no to do that unless an experienced player (with number 1 on his back) has some other issues / bad attitude etc.

What has happened to Sweeney?
Unrecognisable from the player of last season.
Thumping on the cards today then, to yet again bump up our goals against.

Thought we were playing well tbh. Now that's ruined the game. Embarrassing wall btw. Watching it on iFollow, why we left a gap in the wall for the Wigan play to plug and then duck as the ball went right through him, I'll never know

Shoring up defence when 1-0 down by removing ability to score? Umm

BBC says professional foul - last man.
What is he point of doing that - with an hour's play still to go???
I can understand it with just a minute or two to go to protect a lead/preserve a point, but not when you are going to leave 10 men for an hour!!!

Weird though as he was so good last year. We thought he was one of the ones that DC was singling out post Oldham. Maybe he over compensated today!

This is the 4th red card Carl Boyeson has given this season in his 7th match - something we should have been warned about - he is trigger happy as he was all last season

Harsh sendin off as there was another covering defender. I don't think that rule exists anymore. If its deemed to be denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, its irrelevant how many defenders are covering.

Harsh sendin off as there was another covering defender. Looked a definite red to me - not about last man anymore, its stopping a goal scoring opportunity, which it was. We're getting really screwed from all angles now though

What has happened to Sweeney? Unrecognisable from the player of last season. Thumping on the cards today then, to yet again bump up our goals against. he's 20 and has played 35 senior games in his entire career. Peoples' expectation of young players is ludicrous these days, possibly fuelled by 'starlets' at high levels going for 10's of millions after a season or two (or less) Not a dig at your comment - just a general comment on managing expectations in football.
