That's why I said from the last 10/15 years as I knew the smart arses would say Swindon and Oldham! Probably should have also said in the league (not the cup against Fulham!) My mistake |

defence coach needed urgently We've become very naïve defensively. Something is definitely required to change things urgently. Other teams forwards must rub their hands when they see us.
Perhaps Lumley defied his young age and he, rather than Sweeney, was the key piece of the jigsaw on the field?

At the game.
Rovers have been clinging on at times. Wigan are tearing us apart with neat football around the box. I'd be surprised if they don't get 2 or 3 more in the second half.
Lots of Gasheads unhappy with the red card incident. Looked a stonewall foul and sending off to me. We were turned inside out with a through ball and sweeney brought the man down after the Wigan player had cut inside him. As I said - stonewall.

Wide open before the red even wider after.
Becoming obvious each game we don't have players to the control of games. Ours aren't s good as the opposition.
I will take mid table after the start of the season we've had. Damage limitation until January for me. We MUST bring in players.
Now for the second half.

Think I'd prefer to see Andre on the bench instead of Smith based on what happened on Tuesday! Pleased to see Bola getting a start, think Browner could do with a break. Would like to see Telford come on in place of Harrison later in the match. UTG! re keepers - in terms of man management it's a big of a no-no to do that unless an experienced player (with number 1 on his back) has some other issues / bad attitude etc. Was thinking more about the fact that Smith did not appear to be fully fit on Tuesday, on that basis I think he may have been brought back too soon. |

Usually if you are amongst all those biased gasheads and you still think the ref got it right then he probably did! |

Off the ball he definitely does the work of 2 players. He is underrated, especially in tough away matches like today where he never gives the opposition time on the ball and presses them into mistakes (think Oxford away last season). |

Charlie Wyke has scored in only one game in the last dozen or so .... three against us.
Not even sure why I'm angry .... it's so predictable !
