'Yam ,Yam,live just over the border near Stafford and have seen your stadium transformed totally over the years.Ours is somewhat non league by comparison.Thought your stewards were top notch last night. At Port Vale last season they were hopeless but your Guys, mostly older than the norm, were brilliant.Hope our Owners were there last night to see your stadium. Enjoyable evening despite the result.Your keeper was a cool dude.Very confident.

At least £35m in transfer fees on just 3 players! it does sound a lot but we have spent the big money and younger players on 5 year contacts who should all improve. The big money signing we have made have been costa-£13 million we would easily get close to double that for him. Neves £15 million which although seems ridiculous for a championship club to pay we under payed for him given Porto situation at the time and mendes informing wolves about it. Cav cost us 7 million and again has improved as player and we would probably get 8 figures for him. Rumours in Spain and Portugal today is that we have bid €22 million for jota who we have on loan from A.Madrid and he is the best player I have ever seen in a wolves shirt and although again the fee seems ridiculous it would be one of the bargains of the season. When comparing our transfer policy to the likes of villa and Birmingham who have spent around the same as us but they will little have resale value on the players they have signed were as we can sell most of our on for profit if we fail to go up it's not a bad policy we have now a days. Costa and Neves in particular looked unbelievable signings for you. I've seen Neves a few times for Porto and he always looked a class act. I think I'm right in saying he was their youngest ever captain, was a regular in the Champions League and had previously been linked with Juventus/Chelsea etc. If you get Jota permanently that will be another fantastic piece of business. Always had a soft spot for Wolves, so I hope you go up...I've tipped you to. Good luck for the rest of the season.

To be fair, Wolves are one of the few teams to rival City in how much money they've wasted on achieving mid-table tier two football. that used to be us in the 90's and early 00's some of the dross we signed for mega money at the time was unreal. That changed under morgans ownership were we generally changed approach and signed players from the lower divisions for small fees. Under Morgan in his last 4 seasons we made profit in 3 of those seasons including 8 million in the black in his last season with us, that was one of the main reasons fosun brought us as with ffp you can only lose 39 million over 3 seasons so in theory the club can afford to lose 47 million last season and this season without breaching ffp rules Yeah, I realise I'm living in the past. I had a Wolves mate in the late 90s. Was very pleased for him when you finally got to the Prem. Istm Hayward's tenure was very similar to Lansdown's at City.

Watching the highlights - we played some great football, plenty of skill and movement. Luck didn't go our way with some deflections.
Just a question - are players not given offside anymore if they stand in front of keepers and don't touch a shot/cross ? Looked like their guy did just that.
Locks - why did he do that at the end ? he's let the team down - next games and himself - don't understand why he didn't just chase him back. Wilson was miles from goal !

No-one let anyone down last night. It's easy to criticise from the comfort of your armchair but Lockyer just acted instinctively bringing down a sub who had much fresher legs. All the Rovers players put in a terrific shift last night and deserve our praise.

does it matter whether it was armchair or not ?? and yes he has let himself down especially because he isn't playing for 1 or 3 games now ? We need players on the pitch at the moment because it's sendings off almost every game - a recipe for disaster. And we are desperate to build some confidence at the back and cut out the goals against.

We'd gone to 3 at the back and were pushing forward for the equaliser, with both full backs in advanced positions. Wolves got the ball forward quickly to Wilson and the bounce beat Tom who pulled Wilson back. In my view the distance from goal (level with the Centre Circle) and the quickly retreating Lines meant that this was not an obvious goal scoring opportunity and a harsh decision from the ref. Given the circumstances, there is not a professional defender who would have done any different IMO. It's one game and we have Sweeney back on Saturday. Broadbent and Sweeney would be my preference for Blackpool and both are pretty capable.

According to the laws of the game, in deciding whether it was an obvious goal scoring opportunity, the ref must consider the distance between the offence and the goal, the general direction of the play, likelihood of keeping or gaining control of the ball, and the location and number of defenders. The offence was 45 yards from goal and we had defenders getting back into position. That's why I'd suggest it was harsh. Regardless, it won't be overturned so we miss Lockyer for one game.

Spoke to some wolves fans today and in hindsight they say their goal should have been disallowed for offside but they were full of praise for our performance on the pitch and the noise we made throughout the whole game

That stand is sold out with season ticket holders barring the odd single seat so standing throughout the game has been extended to quadrant as well. If/when we get to the premier league the plan is to rebuild the ste bull stand and then the south bank. The club aim for the south bank is to keep it a single tier and will be the second biggest safe standing stand in Europe.

Afternoon all. I'm just back home after a couple of days away and thought I should come on to say that I thought your side put in a great performance and were unlucky not to win the game in 90 minutes. I also thought your fans were tremendous. They sang all game long, giving your side tremendous support right the way to the end. As they sang, "We're Bristol Rovers, we stay to the end!" Hope those of you who went enjoyed your visit to Molineux. All the best for the rest of the season.

We would've drew the sh**, the ball numbers went in alphabetical order so we would've been ball 3 instead of palace
