Maybe if Bodin scores against Portsmouth and Plymouth next week he will get called up to the Wales squad for the internationals the following week. So should Sweeney and Lockyer get called up again.....

Probably the worse set of officials i have witnessed for some time. The ref couldn't be accused of being a Homer that's for sure!

Thought we were lucky to win it but will take it every day of the week. I think we've only really played well once this season (bury away) but if we hadn't slipped up at home to the bottom club we'd be sitting pretty. I didn't think we were lucky at all. Looked the better team apart from 15 minutes in the first. Fair enough. I thought it was pretty even but either way a wins a win. It's a good Saturday night. UTG

As they say, a funny old game. A classic 'game of two halfs' for me.
I thought in the 1st half, with all the changes, we looked very lacklustre and disjointed, especially the first 30/35 mins. Surprised to see the lineup with a 4-4-2 and Bola RB, Partington CB, Moore starting and no Sercombe.
Blackpool knocked it around with ease at times and managed to find plenty of gaps, without particularly exploiting them or taking advantage, apart from the goal. I thought we lacked balance, solidity and cohesion, but once we brought on Sweeney/Sercombe we looked a lot better and the second half was a totally different game. Sweeney was solid and Sercombe probed.
On the balance of play we deserved to win, but I thought it was going to be a different story after the first 30mins or so, but the main thing is we won.
Onwards and upwards...

I thought the game was very even but we looked more dangerous near goal and all 3 goals were very good finishes. I thought ellis played well and scored a great goal and tom nicholls put in a good shift and used the ball well after a shaky start. I thought partington and ollie clarke struggled today.

Im not sure ,tried to find out earlier but ran into dead ends. Season long loans might be different ?

Unbelievable how the ref made some of those decisions. 5 yellows to their 0? And 4 minutes o injury time? Someone had some cash on a Blackpool win - felt like we'd beaten the ref more than we did them. Bit of handbags in the West Enc today - what was that about? And yet their number 7 Vassell spent the first half hitting the deck and the ref kept buying it. The ref looked about 18 at best. Seems like he's been rushed through far too quickly.

Have to say didn't see that coming after 20 mins & we'd given them the freedom of the pitch to play in. Having said that for all their neat play their only real chance was the goal which came from a poor pass from Bodin & Partington misjudging the flight of the ball. The 2nd half changes definitely made a huge difference we were on the front foot & looked more threatening. Deserved to win in the end thought Ellis was excellent & Bola looks a proper player. Out of position but looked comfortable all game. Onwards & upwards

The ref is 37 years old with 11 years pro football experience. Not saying he's any good mind....

Phew, needed that! Only got to watch the second half which was decent enough. I thought Telford (think it was him) was a little too selfish when he took the chance on but then our goal came just after the corner. Good finish by Harrison but if he had messed it up everyone would have been bashing him for not squaring it to a free player! But he didn't miss did he? Shades of Fulham goal

Feeling positive about this one - 3-1 to the Gas. Sweeney, Ellis, Telford What a prediction! Sometimes I even surprise myself! First time I've seen Bola - very impressed. Hopefully Nichols with score soon, I though he worked hard today.

You can't be a good ref at 18 then? Without wanting to open a pointless can of worms how in the world would an 18 year old have enough experience of working in the lower leagues before being deemed ready for a League 1 game?
