Slocombe 7 dependable all you can ask from a keeper Bola 7.5 continues to impress Brown 7 nice to see him back Broadbent 8 Going to be a good player if last two performances are to go by Partington 6 Struggled but isn't fit in my opinion Moore 6 flattered to deceive though thought he was unlucky to be booked for a dive Bodin 7.5 goal and an assist Lines 9 MOM that's what he can do O Clarke 7.5 Solid but unspectacular Harrison 8.5 great effort if only he could score more goals Nichols 8 best performance so far just needs a goal
Telford 7 Great effort on goal unlucky not to score Sweeney 7.5 Looked very determined Sercombe 8 made a big difference when he came on
Ref 1 appalling Crowd 7 D.C. 8 rectified things second half Blackpool 6 looked good in patches
Tactical change at half time had Blackpool reeling, great second half performance! Lines was outstanding, onto Pompey UTG

Slocombe 7 Looks like a reliable and confident 'keeper
Bola 8 Looks quality...lovely first touch. Not afraid to use either foot Partington 7 Broadbent 7 Brown 6.5 Has been a great servant, but may have reached his ceiling.
Bodin 7 As long as he scores all else is forgiven O. Clarke 6.5 Not yet at his best Lines 7.5 Just wish he'd gather pace and run through midfield more often Moore 6.5 A flimsy player. Does good things, then fades.....
Nichols 6 Tidy, but a striker needs to score goals! Harrison 8 Adding consistency to his game. Perhaps, just perhaps, it's all coming good...
Subs: Sweeney 7.5 Made a noticeable difference Sercombe 7.5 Ditto Telford: 7 Would like to see him start
Crowd 6 Ref 3 I know fans are jaundiced in their view, BUT 5 Yellows for us and none for Blackpool?! Poor Blackpool 7

Slocombe 7 a competent display he's very decent league One keeper Bola 7.5 looked comfortable and classy Partington 6 a bit shakey in a position that didnt suit him Broadbent 6.5 looked better in the second half with Sweeney alongside him Brown 6 not at his best Bodin 7.5 good goal and assist O. Clarke 6.5 still nowhere near last seasons form Lines 8.5 MoM very good game,a sublime assist for first goal Moore 6 a couple of good crosses but doesnt do enough Nichols 7 all thats missing is a goal, worked his socks off Harrison 8 worked hard, a good goal,Ellis is beginning to look the part if he hadnt missed a sitter before half time he would have been MoM Subs: Sweeney 7.5 after a slow start on his return we've got our Sweeney back! Sercombe 7.5 made a lot of difference when he came on Telford 7 unlucky not to score, looks quality Crowd 7 kept up the good support Ref 3 started off ok then his display decended into pure farce Blackpool 6.5 a tidy side ,shifted the ball quickly but a bit punchless,

Slocombe 7 reliable performer Bola 7.5 looks a good prospectime Partington 6 lucky he didn't get a red for rash tackle Broadhead 7 steady and calm Brown 6.5 you get what's on the wrapper Moore 5 flatters to deceivensure Lines 9 class act great ball for first goal Clarke 7 grew into game still not fit Bodin 7.5 took his goal well best performance for some time Nicholls 6.5 works hard but needs a goal Harrison 8.5 ran himself into the ground at both ends and took his goal well
Sweeney 7.5 brought steadying influence to defence Telford 7 looked a threat whenever he had the ball Sercombe 7 extra body in midfield nullified threat
DC first half 3 team selection questionable to say the least Second half 7 at least he rectified his mistakes
Referee 2 I have seen this man on numerous occasions and not only with rovers and I have yet to see him be anything but mediocre

Slocombe 7 reliable.
Bola 7.5 great. Partington 5 ponderous. Broadbent 7 always there. Brown 5.5 legend.
Bodin 8 brill. O. Clarke 6 not so good. Lines 8 brilliant. Moore 6 not so good, although..
Nichols 7 getting closer. Harrison 8.5 mom everywhere.
Subs: Sweeney 7.5 what we needed. Sercombe 7.5 what we needed. Telford 7 what we needed.
Crowd 7.5 supported all way through Ref 6 got some unpopular decision correct but used letter of law one way. Blackpool 6.5 decent 3rd division side.

Slocombe 7 No chance with the goal, wasn't really tested, but that's not his fault.
Bola 7 Out of position but it didn't bother him. Partington 5 Out of position and it showed for their goal. Broadbent 7 Strong performance Brown 7 Best game I've seen him play this season
Bodin 7 He's always threat, fair game and a goal O. Clarke 6 Had a good last 30 minutes Lines 8.5 Would walk into any team in L1 Moore 6 DC wanted to take two players off and his booking did for him, or else it would have been Clarke
Nichols 6 Still needs a goal, but he his better than James, just. Harrison 9 His goal pips Lines for MotM. Defends so well now
Subs: Sweeney 8 Solid 7 and a goal makes 8 Sercombe 7.5 45 minute energy level proved decisvie Telford 6.5 Keeper kept his mark down.
Crowd 8 Blackthorn was impressive today. Ref 2 After the last 3 games this was the worst ref we could have had. Blackpool 6 If they had Lines and Bodin they would probably stay top 6.

Slocombe 7.0 Keeps it simple never flashy but solid
Bola 7.0 Not sure that he is a right back but is extremely talented Partington 5.0 Lost his man for the Blackpool goal does not look a central defender Broadbent 8.0 A very solid citizen, a difficult customer to play against, looks a real find Brown 6.5 Dependable and solid Bodin 7.0 A vital goal that kept Rovers in the match when playing badly, also set up the second goal O. Clarke 5.0 Not his best match Lines 8.0 Good match, magnificently set up the BB goal with superb movement and pass Moore 6.5 Had some good moments when brought into the game
Nichols 7.0 Worked hard Harrison 7.0 Scored an excellent goal giving the keeper no chance
Subs: Sweeney 8.5 Scored the game breaking goal and was an immense presence alongside TB Sercombe 7.5 Rovers got on to the front foot much more with him on the pitch Telford 7.5 Excellent movement looks a threat nearly scored
Crowd 6.0 Ref 2.0 Blackpool 7.0

Slocombe 7 continues to establish himself as first choice keeper. Bola 7 copes better at being played out of position than some more senior colleagues Partington 5 DC's obsession with playing a right and left footer at centre half could have cost us more than one goal. Parts didn't look comfortable and was rightly sacrificed at half time to avoid yet another sending off. Exposed for the goal and an off his feet, out of control tackle contributed to the early hook. Broadbent 7 grew into the game looked much better with another centre back next to him Brown 7 benefitting from having serious competition for his place at last Moore 6 competent and should have at least tested the keeper when blasting over from close range. The booking for diving sealed his fate as we had to change the shape to stop Blackpool running the game and he made himself the logical choice with a trigger happy ref in town. Bodin 7 calm finish and put together a couple of mazy runs and on target long rangers that suggest he's getting over the blip in form, although it was his loss of possession that led to their goal. Lines 8 excellent set up of Bodin for the equaliser and an assured second half display once he had some help in the engine room Clarke 7 first half had his hands full covering the makeshift centre back pairing and couldn't help Linesy shore up the overrun midfield. Second half he was able to snuff out the opponents more effectively and still get some forward runs into space. Harrison 7.5 not everything came off for him but he persevered and eventually got his reward. Some people seem to think he can run and run without ever needing to recover his breath and label him lazy when he doesn't close down or chase his fourth lost cause in a row. Try it sometime! Nichols 7 starting to produce the quality that will help him break his personal duck and also benefit the team by adding attacking variety.
Sweeney 7.5 settled the whole back four down with a calmly dominant second half shift. Deserved his goal. Sercombe 7 instrumental in the change of shape that wrestled control of the game out of the Seasiders' grasp Telford 7 useful cameo one curling goal bound shot was beating the keeper till their defender made a timely headed interception. Clearest booking of the game.
Ref 6 a little card happy but most of the inaccurate decisions given were actually down to Laurel and Hardy running the line. Crowd 8 stayed with the team despite the shaky start and going a goal behind Blackpool 7 played some lovely stuff in the first half but then that was because we allowed them to. Our substitutions changed the game and Blackpool became less effective as the match wore on.

Slocombe 7 did every thing right, no saves to make. No chance for the goal.
Bola 7 Improving with every game, no doubt the boy has some calibre. would like him to get closer to marker at times though. Partington 4 at fault for the goal and looked very uncomfortable at CB. Lucky with the yellow as he lunged in. Broadbent 7 Calm and solid for most parts, looking to be a great find by the club. Looked better with Sweeney. Brown 6 Not one of his best performances but his experience gets him by.
Bodin 7 mixed bag, gave ball away for goal but got his mojo back with a good goal and assist. O. Clarke 6 look leggy but grew into the game. Better after Sercombe came on. Lines 8 great performance, fit as a flea must be doing things right off the pitch. Great run and assist to get us back level. Moore 5 flimsy
Nichols 6 needs a goal maybe an impact role against tiring defenders will help him. Harrison 9 MOTM have seen him play at Wigan, Wolves and home vs Blackpool in last week. He has worked his guts out running, defending and helping the team. Yesterday saw him play 3 consistent games in a row and more importantly score. Long may it continue.
Subs: Sweeney 7 good performance and goal. Improved things when he came on. Sercombe 7 classy with the ball good assist. Again improved things. Telford 6 would like to see him get a start. Unlucky not to score.
Crowd 9 kept going thanks to the sh** ref and the understanding that we had played 3 tough games in a week. Ref 2 awful. Blackpool 6 Played some good stuff and looked like the team who didn't play 120 mins in the week. Look similar to us in regards to being a couple of decent players short of being a strong outfit. Dc got out of jail with his half time subs so fair play, our quality on the bench won us the game. Our inability to bring in a DCM and a LM in transfer window was highlighted yesterday.

Slocombe 6 Fairly straightforward game for him
Bola 6 The guy has some skill, looks comfortable most of the time Partington 5 Certainly not his day in this game Broadbent 7 Solid and hope he gets more games Brown 6 Reliable but has had better games
Bodin 5.5 Excellent goal, but not quite up to his usual standard of play O. Clarke 5 Not playing that well at the moment, must up his game Lines 7.5 Good game throughout lovely ball for first goal Moore 5 Put some good crosses over, excellent dive if it was a dive
Nichols 6.5 Quick feet and reasonable game, will come good and deliver Harrison 8 MoM he must have covered the entire pitch, good to see he does not go to ground as he use to
Subs: Sweeney 7 Steadied us when he came on, Sercombe 7 Another good game, just what we needed in midfield Telford 6 Looks promising
Crowd 8 Ref 5 Book happy for one side, aided by two clowns with flags Blackpool 7 Not a bad side but no cutting edge
