BBC commentary is so random... Penalty missed! Bad penalty by Lee Brown (Bristol Rovers). Lee Brown should be disappointed. Never have liked left foot penalty takers.

Get in!!!
What all this proves, is that whatever league Rovers are in, as long as we win, it's still bloody great!!!
Bus, promotion, bandwagon, play-offs..............

Time to give Ellis undivided support? Providing he behaves himself he can be a good player for us.

In DC we trust. Putting pride back into the quarters one nervy 1 goal win at a time.

I said this last week to some mates, it's bizarre how it feels we've been awful thus far but aside from the first week we're actually doing pretty well. We all accepted we'd never walk this league but our position isn't bad at all, there's a long road ahead but this ain't over by a long way. UTG

Our top scoring striker at the moment, certainly wasn't expecting to type that at this point in the season! Never been Ellis' biggest fan, but then I think JW put him and Santos under too much pressure at the start of last season. He's still a kid so I shouldn't expect the world from him. He will get all my support if he keeps putting in the performances and, as you say, behaves himself. Well done Ellis and Rovers, don't let it slip on Tuesday.

4pts from play offs and only 8pts from automatic. I think we are now looking up at a few teams above who are looking over their shoulder and seeing us in the distance. Exciting times. Now we know we can bounce back. Grit, determination and belief. The best teams in any league win games like this. I'm so pleased for Ellis. We need to support our youngsters during their early years. Great stuff. The games come thick and fast. Poor dog is going to be worn out!

UTG Thing is we do have some decent players but they have not yet out it together. I think there is the potential of a very decent side. It looks like we have got a team who now are starting to really battle. We can't afford to be missing the penalties though. Here hoping we continue to improve.

I don't want to put a downer on things but winning a tough match like this away won't mean anything if we fail to win the penalty kick match v Nuneaton on Tuesday. Time for us to kick on lads...
