DC is not the problem, false expectations amongst fans is! He is a quality bloke & manager and we are lucky to have him! Is anyone actually still fooled by the owners? They have shown zero ambition in providing funds for on pitch investment, how good do people expect us to be!?! We have an awful ground, no training facilities yet we criticise a manager (wanted by LEEDS!) just because he isnt astonishingly over achieving!! You need to get a grip, pull your head out your ass and hope to god that he isn’t driven out the club by fans who think we’re Barcelona....oh and our match winning best player has been injured of late DC OUT! Pathetic. Bang on. We are getting more than what the owners are paying for and the man who is delivering that over achievement is the person who is getting beaten up! The ALQs meanwhile who came in with their smiles, bluster and promise of evolution are still smelling of roses. Unbelievable that fans direct their frustration at the wrong target. If you want to vent then maybe you should be starting to start question the difference between what the owners said they were going to do and what they are doing and what should be expected for what they ARE doing. When will the “landing lights” of reality come on for the fans who are blinded by misguided and unwarranted faith in the current regime?

Our defence is clearly "not good enough ", we get rid of a defender who's played countless league games ( Hartley ) Replace him with a soldier, who's done pretty well, But c'mon, surely we're not moving forward are we? . We're letting too many goals , something has to change. Are we really making signings that are improving the squad? This time last year we were leaking goals all over the place (Millwall, Charlton x2, Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and loads more) and Hartley was part of the problem. Now according to this place the answer is to bring back Steve Yates, bring back Peter Hartley (or 'why did we let them go?!). Its mad. It'll take DC time to get it right at this level given the jump this squad has made, but he will. But isn't that part of the problem, we let Hartley leave but his replacement is no better, is that because DC hasn't been given sufficient funds to get in a decent Div 1 defender or the inability of DC to sign one? I can't get my head around why we never replaced Yates' defence coach role given he helped to turn things around when he returned after the Braintree horror show. Something has got to give soon as we can't keep letting 3 goals in every away game before it hits confidence and then home form. Why DC brought back the recently out of sorts Parts last night is a mystery to me, as it meant we had two inexperienced players in defence.

Wouldn't those wages be better spent on Yates' replacement?

We are a mid table team that wins some games and loses some.
Get a grip FFS. Who is going to replace Clarke? We could get Dam Mourinho, but would it matter as half of you would still moan that we arent spending any money

Four points off the L1 play-offs on a mediocre budget and it’s time for one of our most successful managers ever to go? Forget last night’s result or some of the away performances this season, some of the posters on here are the real joke and embarrassment. If our fans force the board’s hand by turning on DC when we’re in a perfectly respectable position then I’m done with this club.

Who's asking to sack DC ? So if DC left for a bigger club you wouldn't bother with the gas anymore? Fans who pay good and well earned money have a right too a opinion ask your mum to pick your toys up and give you them back.

Another part of the "evolution" is taking place this week with the appointment of 2 new coaches for the Under 19/development squads..... and thats great and hopefully will be beneficial for the club over the next decade....nonetheless you have to heavily invest (there are a few exceptions like everything in life) into the first team squad if u want to see short term improvements...the owners arent going to do that so anyone who is frustrated needs to direct that at the owners not DC imo....ok he could spend what funds he is given better perhaps but all managers have conflicting success there....people also mask the boards lack of spending by saying we spent much more than in recent years last summer...very clearly that money was from chelsea, snake and best ever st sales

Don't worry there are plenty of quality managers unemployed. Buckle, McGhee, Graydon! Be careful what you wish for!

I think you could be right there but I bet he got a clause if some club comes in with a good offer he can use it and rovers still get compensation Let's hope that , that is sooner rather than later midland who do you think we can get better than dc? Who can we attract with a sh** ground and nothing to spend? We got the best we can,he’s hungry and learning all the time,we don’t want a manager here just for a pay cheque If dc doesn’t do well it will effect his future, all this talk of championship clubs after him is rubbish he’s not ready and he knows it himself else he would’ve been gone I had a row last night with someone saying dc must go,he said you who we should get...Hoddle 😂 people need to get real, wael needs to get his cheque book out and help dc at least 4 quality players else the gates will drop even more

This thread is called ‘Sorry time for Clarke to go’ and you started it. So uh, you are? 2) “So if DC left for a bigger club you wouldn't bother with the gas anymore?” For a start, that’s not what I said. I said that if our fans forced the board’s hand into sacking DC then I’d be done. They’re not the same things. You’re either a sheed or just on the wind-up, but either way can you at least attempt to read my post properly and come up with a response that is somewhat intelligent?

I wouldn’t be surprised if he left in January and took Bodin with him wherever he went. Then the numptys in here would get their wish and we’d almost certainly end up in league 2 next season with it. ive never ever stated, I want DC out!, just that our defence isn't good enough. Anyone that thinks it is are deluded or doesn't know a lot about football.

Just listened to the post match interview with DC, he says he takes full responsibility for the team , performances and results and he is going to be harsh and make changes well he makes changes to the team every week so perhaps that s why we are so inconsistent If he takes full responsibility he should look in a mirror first and walk away
