I fear that is a real possibility. The team tonight really should have beaten a non full strength Swindon, and to concede a fourth against 10 men is unforgiveable. DC has his work cut out now - to keep us out of real danger until, and if, he can strengthen in January.

They charged you----cheeky bastards Now we will see what the backroom staff are made of. It strikes me the players in the main have switched off and not playing for the manager All the signs suggest you are right...players have lost there way and no obvious replacements to step in. This is going to be a real test for DC and he will miss chatting things over with Yatey...a lonely time for DC.

I'm not worried about the defeat in this competition, but letting in 4 goals to a League 2 side again is embarrassing and demoralising. I'm not sure how DC is going to lift the team for Saturday in a difficult match. it's not just about this competition. We have fielded what DC would probably consider a strong side for this project and we have been rolled over again.. We are shocking right now, I only hope we can keep picking up the odd win in the league.

Weak, bullied and caved in again. Surely someone must know the reasons why.

I know everyone is desperate to get knocked out but we are conceding goals for fun and Sweeney sounds a complete liability. Lockyer's bad influence...

Interesting fact from the Evening Post coverage of the farce tonight: Bristol Rovers are the first league club to go 34 games without a draw in all competitions since 1948, when the post-war record of 41 was set by … Bristol Rovers

I will take a draw now for Saturday! You might take it but don't think it on offer.
