Not enough options. I see it as there is a confidence and organisation crisis on the pitch. That will get resolved ,its just D.C. finding the formula or getting people into the club in January. Mid-table this season (9th-16th) Plans for a new Mem will be put forward by the end of the season. PP will be sought ,funding acquired. The team and Colony will get more funding. Upper midtable/playoff contenders next season. Ellis Harrison sold to Manchester City for £50 million will cover any cash shortfalls and allow for a greater range of pies and pasties at the club. Can i have some of what you are taking please But stranger things have happened....... Not that strange Henbury! We’ve got more chance of finding Lord Lucan on the moon in a world war 2 bomber, holding a picture of Frank Sinatra singing trees under his left armpit!

But we don't have advertising hoardings overlooking the motorway and earning a fortune as Walsall do. But we have a training ground overlooking the motorway, so................

None of the above, but I'd be very happy to remain an average-to-good League One team for the foreseeable. Although my son would probably like to return to crap pies as he won't eat the new sausage rolls!

Let's be honest about it, we've nosedived on and off the pitch since the change of pies. We were a club on the up before we went all gourmet. We've got to get our minds off the pies and back on the prize.

As things are going could easily loose a 1000 season ticket renewals next year and easily another 1000 off the pay-on-the-day gate (possibly more) and that would increase losses by three quaters of a £ million which would probably mean further budget cuts and further jeopardise league 1 status even more even if we survive this year. So if asked where I now expect the Gas to be in 2 or 3 years then I'd say a struggling League 2 club at best under current ownrship with uncertainty being even greater than now and crowds down to the loyal 5000. So much potential lost and with an ever aging supporters base adding to problem as a new generation of fans look elsewhere. Well, you really are an inspiring fellow. Doom Gloom and more Doom Your expectations for 2 or 3 years time are the picture as it was in 1986 except crowds were down to the loyal 3000. And three years ago we were nearly extinct. Don't ask me to go for a pint with you - I prefer my glass to be half full.

Don't ask me to go for a pint with you - I prefer my glass to be half full. The thing is what was there to be optimistic about after listening to Hamer's interview? Genuine question by the way. I felt nearly suicidal after the cobstant negativity- even the discussion of promotion was manoeuvred by Hamer into a moan about how much it would cost to stay there. The interview came back to money at every turn and Hamer gave the impression that DS either don't have any or aren't willing to invest any. That in itself wouldn't be a problem if there were other facets to enjoy about supporting a football club that aren't reliant on money- but sadly there aren't any. Spend to survive. If there is no investment in the playing side we are going to have to try and fashion sides out of free transfers. How many seasons can we keep that up before we slip back into league two? We can't even lure players through our facilities because we don't have any. Honestly I had my suspicions about DS but that interview has made me realise that in actual fact we are much worse off than even my lowest expectations. Hamer made it sound like we are on a par with Yeovil town in terms of resources. For a club that attracts support of 8k it just isn't good enough. So I just don't see what there is to be positive about when we are saddled with debt leveraged against our stadium, have an owner with no interest in football and our training facilities won't be up and running until June 2019 (and that sounded like an ephemeral date plucked out of the air) and will be built to the same spec as the plans for an amateur rugby side's facilities. How on earth will we progress with only token investment?
