Although we really could do with a result today, I’m writing this one off really.
The odds would be stacked against us going to Blackburn if we were in good form, let alone going there on the run we’re on and with confidence at rock bottom.
Unless I’m mistaken, we haven’t gone to a big team/big stadium away in the league and won since Southampton in 2009?

No creativity in midfield. But that front 3 have enough qulaity to produce chances on their own. The midfield and defence need to defend and to keep us in the game and give us a chance, we also have a very strong attacking bias on the bench too. |

If you’d have told me that was the lineup without seeing the formation I would’ve assumed it was 5-3-2 with Partington at the back, Sercombe with the other two in midfield and Bodin and Harrison up top. Either way there should be enough defensive capability there to be reasonably solid. UTG!! |

OC is the concern for me too as his confidence looks shot, need a big performance from him to link midfield with attack. Is a gamble with partington but nobody else has stepped up in there so hopefully he will be the first UTG |
