Well, reading and listening to the reports from some of the magnificent away following, that sounds like a great performance, but the footballing gods seem to be finding different ways to rob us of our just deserts , these things go in cycles and i am more convinced than ever that the tide will turn.Sounds like every one done the business yesterday, and playing Parts in a different roll seems to have worked a treat, early days but is this the key decision in an upturn in our fortunes? It reminds me of the old Glen Miller film , he worked for hour after hour to find his sound and eventually after much switching of the roll of different instruments he found his sound , could the Parts experiment be our eureka moment? hope the next two home games will confirm the promising early results.Come on you blues!

Ok you have all been waiting for my moan so here it is
I did not go yesterday and can only go on what I have read and highlights on to
First of all magnificent away following well done all those that made the long trip
It looks as if this game we gave our all and could well of had a point if not even all 3 other than some poor defending and some woodwork around their goal and that it was a massive improvement on the pitch by the lads who as well as the travelling gas must be very disappointed with the result (although previous games lost was more than deserved)
For me though at the moment I have not changed my opinion on dc so after this performance I want to be proved wrong although 1 point off the relegation spot is more than a concern if we do not change it around one way or another soon

DC's cautious approach nearly worked at Scunthorpe and it nearly worked at Blackburn. I realise 'nearly worked' doesn't get any points, but the hammerings away from home have stopped, so that's progress of a sort. Just trying to look for positives, This is chalk and cheese. Scunny was playing the whole team in defence. This was far better. Stronger down the middle in defence, and with an attacking option. If we had a decent option on Lockyer it would be better still. He is still a weak link. But at least Lines was dropped. That made us stronger immediately, and we looked much better going forward. As for Nicholls, he didn't miss a sitter, but he should have got the header on target.

Are we just ignoring the fact Blackburn were denied a blatant pen (and probable red card) before we scored? Which one? Think they should have had 3, yet the one they got wasn’t one! Positives though today, we looked good again, Bodin should have scored, disallowed blatant goal, their Keeper pulled off some good saves! Play like that with a couple of additions and we’ll be fine, just got to get behind the team and DC now! Big month coming up! So you don't count the two occasions when Blackburn players were pulling the shirts of our strikers in the penalty area?

Maybe so, but I’d say you’re likely to get a penalty for handball and Smith taking out their striker than pulling shirts that goes on all game unpunished. By the by, it’s happened now!
