I will love it...
If Colin Daniel or Chris Lines score the winner past City this evening.

I believe Scott Murray is giving Colin Daniel a bottle of Champagne tonight, that might come back and bite them if he ends up getting the winner. Stranger things have happened. All harmless fun imo anyway.

Everything looked so Rosy in the garden for them. Tom Pope was jsut turning up and scoring for fun, the had just had a load of money injected from some foreign bloke and i had to sit there at half time listening to all this joyous news. But it doesn't seem to have gor them very far. Something's gone wrong somewhere

christ how sad the inbreeds are, w**king each other off because some twonk stole a bottle of fizzy wine from asda and are giving it to daniels, how sad, ok we are non league, but we never sh** on our creditors or threatened 8 players to give up their contracts, then hail them as heroes, still it wont be long before they come down the table with a bump

The return of Colin Daniel to Mansfield Town, just in time for us to hopefully beat them in a few weeks time. Even worse the photo they still use of him is from THAT day, in OUR kit. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35641779

We thoroughly deserved it and looking back it was an absolute blessing. For me, that day was a turning point, although it's only recently we have been able to see that.

I don't think anyone has any genuine ill-feeling towards either, although it would have been nice if he had shunned the attention he got from the sh** (bottle of champagne...), but surely it's a game that would be great to win, for all sorts of reasons, especially the fact that they are now a rival play-off contender. And Daniel going back to them 2 weeks before we play is very interesting timing.

Best thing that could have happened to us, in hindsight.

They were time-wasting and play acting from the minute they scored which was just bizarre when you consider that there is (was) absolutely no history between the club and that their season was well and truly over.

Their RB was winding the West enclosure up, Steve Yates nearly came to blows with him. Think his name was Dempster but not sure. On that day Torquay didn't put up much of a fight against Wyscum.

We should present Daniel with some champers to really water the Teds off.We probably wouldn't be where we are today if we stayed up that year.Turn it around on them like the gas monicker.

Yes, but in fairness, Torquay were an awful side, as can be seen by what has happened to them since. Losing at home to them was arguably our biggest crime. Just a point from that match and we would have stayed up....
