Smith 6 made some good saves but gave away a silly penalty
Leadbitter 5. Was an attacking threat but defensively weak Lockyer 5. Failed to organise the defence and slow to get to the ball for their second goal Sweeney 5. Not as commanding as recent Brown 5. Not a convincing display
Partington 5. No need to give away the penalty and not as effective as in recent weeks Sinclair 5.5. Tried hard but not effective Sercombe 5.5. Not as effective as usual but scored a good goal
Bodin 4. Was well marked but had numerous opportunities from dead ball situations and other opportunities but failed to influence the game Gaffney 5. Totally ineffective Harrison 5.5. Poorest game for a while. Was welled marked by their defence
Subs: O. Clarke 4.5. Didn’t have an impact Nichols 5. Too lightweight Broom - didn’t do much 4.5
Crowd 5 Ref 8. Got the important decisions correct Gillingham. 7. Confidence was boosted by the first two goals. Unlikely to play as well very often

Same as Steve K We were abysmal apart from the first 10 minutes. Hard to believe this is the same team that played so well last week.
Will not be goingto next away game as I have seen far too many performances like today this season at way games

Smith 5 Made 3 good saves but easily beaten for 2 of the goals Wagstaff was looking for the penalty and Smith made an easy decision for the ref
Leadbitter 6 got forward well and most of our threats had him involved Lockyer 4 Sweeney 4 collective off day Brown 4
Partington 4 not up to the standard of his previous 2 outings and gave away an unnecessary penalty that started the riot Sinclair 4 little impact on game Sercombe 5 poor by his standards
Bodin 4 nothing came off for him and would not have impressed the watching scouts Gaffney 5 tried hard Harrison 4 well below the standards he has set himself this season
Subs: O. Clarke 5 I would start him ahead of the Beard Nichols NOLE Broom NOLE expect him to be one of the players to leave has not stepped up like I expected him to this season
Crowd 6 great number considering the circumstances but I cannot recall a single rendition of Irene Ref 5 meh Gillingham 4 got lucky playing us and us melting after the 1st penalty
