After 3 wins in a row and reaching the heady heights of 10th place in the Banarama Conference .... It got me thinking . Would I have taken relegation on that awful day and those dark weeks afterwards if we got promoted as Champs this season ? Would I have preferred another humdrum season scrapping and scraping against relegation in the football league ? This season could(!) turn out to be fantastic but would it mask the pain we all suffered if we bounced back at the first time of asking ?
So .... Suffer relegation to bounce straight back Or another season in or around the relegation places but ultimately holding onto our league place ?

We were a very sick league club paying over the odds for sh**e, staying up wouldn't have changed things. Relegation is never the answer but at least wage budgets and player recruitment is now more realistic. Hate to say it but 1982 ltd's relegation could be the beat thing that has happened to them. If they go back up they will be in a great position to establish themselves in the championship with the trashton refurb attracting more fans to finance their new philosophy's.
