The pitch situation really is a monumental cock up. Was perfectly fine last season, decision was made to take it all up and relay it at great expense, and it's now a total embarrassment. If I were DC and indeed Wael, I'd be fuming! Is there any chance next season it will have "bedded in"? It had to be dug up to install new drainage. Apparently they used the wrong sand so the pitch is fooked. Have to be re-done in the summer.

Hopefully the contractor will pay then if they use the wrong stuff?

Matt Godden scores again for Stevenage. Pompey are reportedly after him.

I cannae help thinkin this wee guy will be there watchin his old club an next club play? He's more likely to be at Bognor in the National League South on the bench for his club Havant & Waterlooville. Oops...Tubbs starts, and....scores! Lol

Nichols started well for me. Different! Whole team playing well to be fair. I think Stu Sinclair probably the standout for me but a few contenders.

Nicholls with some tidy touches. OC more like last season. Just need it to click up front.

We’re playing our best player out of position again but other than that alright

This for me has been our strongest half of football from a midfield point of view. Quite ironic as out of all the CM's Sercombe has been our best so far this season.
Sinclair playing a blinder. Pompey look very organised defensively and are proving difficult to breakdown. More of the first half though please Rovers!

Playing very well. Back four very tight with Broadbent and Lockyer the pick. Portsmouth keeping their shape well to deny us clear chances. Good football from us considering the poor pitch. All playing well but Sinclair playing the best game I have ever seen from him. He can take the ball forward and has made more forward passes today than he has done since he has been here.
