As a Preston fan and after we have just signed Bodin from you, I’m guessing your manager will have some money to spend. Given the Bodin deal was done quickly, I’d imagine we would be willing to do business with you over Ben Pringle? Plays similar position to Bodin and was excellent for Rotherham in league 1 and the championship. Unfortunately, it looks like the championship may not be his level but at a big league one club with a great manager at this level for a cheap fee (200k-300k) he could be an excellent signing for you’s.

No thanks. Can't see us paying £200-£300k for a 28 year old winger going down the leagues. Not the way we do things. If we're going to pay that sort of fee for a player then it'll be someone younger that is on the rise with the potential to make a profit on in the future.

Maybe so, but he is undoubtedly quality at this level which is what Billy was too. Might be available on loan? As for lower leagues, Christian Doidge is very good and could make the step up. Our own Eoin Doyle may also be available (obviously from a higher division) but probably permanently, he would improve rovers massively as he is the best out there at this level.

It's not all about the fees. Players coming down from the championship will want a higher wage than we can pay. It has been a problem in the past. Hope you get promoted and BB does well for you. If we don't replace him we are screwed (as our recent record shows when he was injured).

You've got yourself a very technical and talented player, the best I've seen at Rovers, for a long time. Good luck to him and preston👍

Good luck to him and preston👍 Cheers, we may sneak 6th but should probably be even higher given our performances. We have just missed spark and stardust- hopefully BB can be that. As for yourselves, is your owner not loaded? When I saw that you’d got back to back promotions (felt awfully sorry for little Accrington that day😂 ) I expected you’s to kick on further? Good luck for the rest of the season.

I’m sure you will replace him as there are a lot of players good enough for league one. You should try and sign someone like Christian Doidge or Billy Kee. Both would score goals at this level, then get some young and hungry prem loanees.

To be fair, we've now lost both our top scorers in successive January's, still not got the right infrastructure to compete top end of league 1. Our spending over the next month will indicate how much our owners are willing to back us. Good luck for the rest of the season, and enjoy BB👍

I thoughy Eoin Doyle was out for some months with a blood clot in his leg. Is there any news on his injury as there was some rumours of a part exchange deal with BB a few days back.

I hope Billy scores the winner on March 6th and gets you into a playoff position
