As far as I know D.C. hasn’t done an interview since Billy left. I understand why we sold him but I would have preferred to have kept him until the summer. I wonder how DC feels about it. I’m worried we’re going to lose him now more than ever.

I’m worried we’re going to lose him now more than ever. I was thinking the same but got to the conclusion that we only really hear from him before a match or after a match. So, I reckon we will hear something before the Blackpool game? I do wonder whether the rant he had about budgets and the owners were because of Bodin. Some have reported it was pretty much a done deal before the transfer window opened. You'd be watered off too if you had targets to reach and then you lose the one thing that would have made those targets closer to obtain.......

Prefer DC to get on with recruiting a few players rather than talk about water under the bridge!

Nothing DC can do now really, not about Billy, what would he say it would have been nice he stayed and so on...
I hope DC is being supported to bring in the players we need to keep us in this league...and then we hear from him.

I find his silence a little un nerving given we have heard from Hamer, Sinclair and Partington. No game so no press day on Thursday, but still feels odd to me

I just think I’d feel a bit happier once he’s spoken about it. Although I obviously understand he’s busy trying to find Billy Bodin mk2.

Think you're worrying about nothing here to be honest. No need for an interview, I'm sure he'll get asked about it at some point soon.

No disrespect meant to the OP but this thread just highlights how nervous and mistrustful of the club we have all become.

I blame forums / social media 😜 Yeah I suppose so, but I still reckon that if we had any trust or an idea about the direction the club is going in no one would be worried. As it is, even the most fervent blue tinter are worried about what will happen in this window.

In DC's post-Pompey interview he alluded to having a hell of a lot of work to do whilst the players have a break and it's easy to see with hindsight this was with the backdrop of Bodin going and clubs sniffing around other players. He will know full well that he is under severe pressure to make the right decisions now re recruitment, with probable limitations on what he can actually do. I really feel for the bloke, to be honest, but it is a great test of his skill.

Not worried in the slightest tbh. I would rather DC put all of his energy into finding us a decent replacement for BB and all the other players we need to ensure as a minimum we are safe in L1.
We will hear from him when there is news to report on signings and that's fine with me.
I believe he said in his last interview that he was looking to get some completed before the Blackpool game so we shouldn't have long to wait.

Dc or Ms will be interviewed for the upcoming Blackpool away match, where we get the post Bodin syndrome in form of:
Good feeling around the camp. Opportunities for other players to step up. Training and working hard. On the phone constantly. Bids rejected for players. Working hard to deliver a great competitive playing staff for rovers fans. GasHeads deserve better. Working tirelessly behind the scenes. Some bids for players that have gone to other clubs. Yea but no but yea I know what you're saying. The budget isn't the question.
Whether anyone new is significant, who knows?
But rhetoric will remain the same, so why comment on what we know will be said?

"But rhetoric will remain the same, so why comment on what we know will be said?" - Indeed! Some would see irony, there.

I suspect there has been an interview.....at one of the championship clubs with vacant manager's positions.
