Just have to watch a certain steward letting his buddies in the Thatchers end (maybe for cash) if I can see it why can't the club I pay to watch the club I support Surely Mr Holtby cannot possibly be aware of this.

This matter has been raised before but no action appears to have taken place.
It annoys me that certain individuals have no conscious and seen to think it is their right to get free admission.
Just have to watch a certain steward letting his buddies in the Thatchers end (maybe for cash) if I can see it why can't the club I pay to watch the club I support Again if fans or the club are concerned then I suggest the following. Any decent fan should pay and IF true ( free tickets ) it is a 'slap in the face ' to hardworking fans who buy Season tickets or pay on the day . I know a student who saves weekly to purchase a S.T and another who pay's via credit x12 to support this club. 1) Any free tickets should be subject to an application process clearly stating the ' persons named' like Aviva rugby matches. 2) Any organisations / Charities could apply but with a designated named person. 3) If there is suspicion that person(s) are often gaining access in the form of a season ticket or pass . Then this should be shared with the admin office to check bank details and evidence of purchase. 4) If a steward is allowing 'free access' it should be reported . 5) free tickets should be stopped in 2018/19 and an application process on each game should be introduced. 6) Free tickets / membership / season tickets / are open to fraud and is dated full of bad practice. 7) The club should monitor and appoint ( part time) or within a person to adopt the above in 2018/19. For 2018/19 an application process should be introduced based on each fixture ( number set by club) to welcome applications to apply for free tickets. The club should support 'groups' it identifies as key to good relations and community harmony. This number should be recorded : monitored and made accountable to deter the concerns raised on this forum. FREE TICKETS TO END SUBJECT TO APPLICATION PROCESS...

Can't see too many on here liking this. It's either fraud or theft, either way it needs to be looked at....

With Holtby banished to a portakabin in the main car park, I suspect Wael and Hammer are slowly tightening up on some of these alleged activities!
Previous boards turned a blind eye!

Modern times I'm afraid, I buy all my tickets on line now I would buy online if the site had https or padlock symbol to let me know it was a secure site. Only football ticket site I know that does not give the buyer that assurance on security.

I don't think it works with their own system from memory, it does the 'verified by visa' system where you have to enter 3 digits of a password, which is secure....

Thanks but surely owners with a banking background could sort this out? It just looks so bad in this day and age.

A partial solution to stewards allowing free entry is to rotate the stewards duties each match. Turnstile duties one match then pitch-side or terracing roles the next game.
Allocate duties on the day, not in advance so that no steward can pre-plan meet-ups with the cheats.

We live in a world where the online experience is king and technology will over rule the personal happy shopper.
I had not realised that our online sales system had no security symbol - that is a worry.
Being a season ticket holder I rarely have need to go online.
My daughter and partner use the system regularly, which high lightens the non use of visiting the club shop, which incidentally more times than not, do not have the tickets that you want - available, and send you back up to the Mem.
The allegations above are scary and just about sums things up at this moment in time - know what I mean!!

A few still got through though The East German border force would have had my photo on record from one of my border patrols in the late 70's early 80's No publicity thank you
