I was hoping to make thus game but I'm ill at the moment and not sleeping properly. Plus, Mrs Scoobydoo is suffering badly with a clusterfuck of a migraine so she's in no fit state to travel anywhere. Safe journey for those that are going and fingers crossed for a Rovers win. It'll be a good game if it even comes close to the last game of 1990 promotion season.

I fancy us to definitely get something out of this game today. I'm going with 1-1 draw or 0-1 gas win.
I think Mensah will get on for sure but I don't expect us to score loads because the seasiders have now got Lumley in goal.

Agree - think with our limited options (especially with the late transfer pull out who rumour has it was looked at as a Bodin replacement) he'll start but we should not put too much pressure on him as he's not doubt talented but won' have had much training time with us and the squad to 'bed' in He's had less than a couple of days to get to know the team, he's also young and making a big step up so imo there's not much chance of him starting. He was never meant to be Bodin's replacement anyway, the lad that pulled out at 8:30 the night before was. Yeah my dad just reminded me that Moore was actually on the bench against Portsmouth so I guess he is fit now? So maybe he’ll start instead, either way I’m sure Mensah will play a part and I’m looking forward to the game. Utg |

I reckon we will see DC play the narrow formation with 3 up top, at least until we get a bit of balance out wide. I'm pretty confident Mensah will play a part at some point. |

No Nichols then. Nine lives all used up. I doubt that very much, one of the focuses in DC's last interview was that he wants to work on players, likes of Bodin and Taylor had poor records in their first 20 or so games for us |
