Due to holidays and work committments I am due to miss the next three home games. If a forum member wants to use my ST for Bradfrod (20/1), Shrewsbury (3/2) and Rochdale (13/2) you are more than welcome. The ticket is for the East Terrace (space just behind and to the right of the home dug out ). You will need to collect it from me at work (Bristol business park) or at home (Bath) by Thursday evening latest. Please PM me if interested.

If they are TRUE Gasheads they would pay for a ticket.

If they are TRUE Gasheads they would pay for a ticket. On the other hand, maybe somebody who can't afford the full ticket price will get the chance to see a game. People's financial circumstances change all the time - being unable to afford matchday costs doesn't stop somebody being a TRUE Gashead. The club have already had Blueside's money for the season ticket, so what's better, let it sit unused in the drawer, or get somebody through the turnstiles for 3 games? Maybe they'll buy a pasty and a programme, so Rovers will get a bit extra anyway.

I thought someone might offer to make a donation to a charity but its not a pre-req and i'm not asking for any money. It's first come first served, and if someone does offer me a small consideration I would probably accept it!

The club sold my prepaid seat to people who were desperate for a seat in the West Stand, so not only did BRFC have my season ticket money, they also made additional income from selling my seat.

We are only losing about £1.5m per season so no problem.
Far more likely outcome is someone who was going anyway will get in cheap or no cost at all, but club won't get a bean.
I thought the tickets were non transferable anyway, and don't you need the season ticket book to gain access? Can't just hand over the stub so I thought.

What does non transferable actually mean though. In the terms and conditions (yes I did actually just read them) it could expand on the criteria, but it doesn't....

What a hero you are. Perhaps they'll put a statue up of you at the new ground, should it ever get built.

Cause of all the high crowds and massive wages we pay out

Bet the club wished you a non-speedy recovery.

It seems a bit churlish to berate a fan giving away a ticket that's he's actually paid for when it's alleged that some seem to get in free by knowing the right people.
