Aye! If you know anything about Gasheads it's that they roll up their sleeves and support the club when the going gets tough. We increased our average attendance in our relegation season, relative to the previous season. We increased it again in the Conference. We have won 8 out of 13 home games this season. We're in league 1. We own our own ground. Our players try their guts out. Is there really so much to moan about, in the grand scheme of things? Yes course there is , in fact it’s only on field affairs that make us keep the faith . I’ve been going to Rovers since 1979 and Eastville born and bred so yes I do know a few things about Gasheads being one of them. Still surprises me though how gullible and easily pleased some of our fans are .I think you’ve used the wrong word there unless you really do mean fans are taken in or fooled. I’m probably one of those you’ve aimed it at as I’m still hopeful that things will come right. Like most clubs we have those of us who are optimistic and those who are less so and some who are just pessimists. That’s normal for any club. After over 50 years when I’ve seen all this before and we do what 2nd May said, we roll our sleeves up, show our support and make the best of a sometimes very bad job. But looking at the big picture we’re in League 1, where we have historically spent most of our time, been to Wembley 4 times in 27 years and I’ve been able to witness 5 of our 6 promotions, and I’ve had a gas watching us over the past 4 years. It’s been brilliant. We’ve had a few hiccups this season but we’re still mid-table. If that makes me gullible or easily pleased then I’ve misunderstood what that expression means for over 60 years! Over optimistic, ever hopeful perhaps but gullible, no! UTG!

So why not explain why it isn't? Really? Lol . Sorry my mistake we are being run in an exemplary fashion not accruing potentially life threatening debts ,gone are the days that we worry for our future existence , we are not selling our best players any longer , we have a beautiful 21,700 seated stand currently being built , a state of the art category 2 training facility almost under completion and a budget fit for a top 6 finish helping towards our goal of a playoff push and eventually championship football . There was a time when we were absolutely light years behind our south Bristol rivals but since the takeover that has narrowed somewhat significantly to the point we are now almost on a level playing field as them . Our manager seems so happy in his pre and post match interviews thus even pledging his undying love and allegiance towards his employers the Al Qadi family . The interaction between our chairman Mr Steve Hamer and our fellow supporters is unquestionable , really fills us all with the utmost confidence and excitement in how our club has progressed and continues to progress on and off the field . The future really is fine and dandy in the rose garden . These are exciting times to be a Bristol Rovers fan and after all these years of hurt and squashed dreams we are now starting to realise our true potential. .............., Carlsberg don’t do football clubs but if they did ............... and yet despite...this season and the last one have produced the highest average crowds you have ever stood in at a rovers match.

Who is this Baggins fellow, more importantly can he play left wing. Apparently all he wants is three pints and a cheeseburger. And the same at half time and at the final whistle.

You must have misheard. It wasn't "walks". And by "on water", I think he meant "in the bath"

Any reason why a subject, which has virtually no connection to Bristol Rovers, is still on this section three days later?

I bet she’s got tits like burnt crisp bags now, if she’s still alive!

Any reason why a subject, which has virtually no connection to Bristol Rovers, is still on this section three days later? Yes its here because Baggins is a gashead and a legend on this site. You don't have to read it
