Just come across old program from away trip , this century,and its a real eye opener! our squad consisted of ;howie,boxall,challis, uddin,barrett, austin, Mckeever, quinn, tait, grazioli, carlisle, warren, bryant, hogg, richards, gall, gilroy, shore, clarke, scott, arndale, and astafjevs. not a squad to inspire much enthusiasm apart from oh ah for the lat...n! but think we won 5-0, and a certain nigel jamson got a lot of stick from the travelling gas!You may have fun guessing the year and the game but more to the point think on this, of the 24 teams in our league(old div 3)ten, yes 10, are now playing non league!, 4 are in the 4th tier, 7 including us still in the 3erd tier, and 3 have gone on to better themselves But only after suffering near disaster!our league position was about the same as now, so cheer up doom merchants things could be a whole lot worse!
