What a mint day.
Christian was before my time but he was great company and a pleasure to talk too. His missus was a good laugh too! Thanks to everyone involved for such a wicked day. Absolutely loved it.
Third time lucky for me regards a win with the FFS!

Jnr was Mansell and Sinclair rather than the usual Messi and Neymar so at least one person was won over by the man of the match presentation!

Yet again a very enjoyable day. Well organised, good food, good company, plenty of refreshments and 3 points.

looks a bit like a firing squad though.   Manse seems to be good with kids. I was leaving at same time as him and his 2 girls & wife and it was all very much happy families. |

Had a great day yesterday,nice food, nice people and the result just topped it off.Really enjoyed having a chat with Christian Mclean top bloke.For anyone who has not tried it yet,you are missing out on a brilliant day.Looking forward to the next one already.

Just like to express my thanks to Jon, Parrot, et al for organising the day yesterday. As others have said - Good food, good company and a good result.
It was great being close enough to hear Christian giving Lee Mansell a pep talk after the MoM award about how good the Rovers fans are, how much it means to us and how the hard work and effort of the players will always be rewarded with our wholehearted support, and not to do anything to lose that bond (or words to that effect).
Just before Christian grabbed Lee, he was telling a couple of us how important we were to him and how he and the team were always lifted by the fantastic support.

another quality day out.... Christian and his girly were excellent company, and joined in with all the daft banter on our table, they were really up for having a laugh with everyone .... well done parrot and jon for sorting this again your hard work and effort are appreciated .... thank you to si for arranging the sweep-stake on our table which I won .... and thank you to everyone there for being top gasheads ....  edit.... and thanx jon for the lift |

I'm weekending in The Cotswolds, but am sure that it won't be as much fun as the FFS shindig. Have a great time all. oh look at lady muck  part of the Cameron set already  Dave and Samantha were total bores! The Stripe Set was obviously where it was at this weekend! Christian said his body was giving up on him (he's a firefighter now) but i reckon he looked fit enough to get his boots on. |

Just to say a big thanks to Jon & Parrot for organising yesterday (and the the three points) it was great meeting those there and shall definetly go to the next one (even if I don't win the lucky draw). Also went and bought Away the Gas excellant value at £9.99 Kevin Bishop (aka Westbury Gas).
