Except the previous plans for the site had a hotel , a convenience store ,a club shop ,a gym. Conference rooms , restaurants and accommodations blocks. Which is more than was mentioned for the UWE stadium that had a jogging track and some classrooms hardly big earners.
The extra stuff is supposed to provide extra income for the club into the future not provide the money to build it.
We do not "know" anything .
They might do nothing ,they might build a 10,000 stand they might suddenly announce they have negotiated a price on some land to build a new stadium. We do not know.
Yes they’re not exactly vocal are they ? That’s why we rely on titbits of inside information, we wouldn’t need to speculate and judge from what we hear from sources inside if the club announced its plans if it indeed had any . It would certainly stop Baggins getting his little knickers in knot and having a constant nibble at everything I post 😂 Genuine question Why do we need to know ?

Because the fans who pay their hard-earned wages over decades to support the club, both financially and vocally, have a legitimate claim to be told what the future of their club might be. If they have a genuine plan to redevelop the stadium, then we should be told about it, because without the fans, there would be no club. The only reasons for the silence that I can see are that they have no plans at all, and are scared to tell us, or they have a super-confidential masterplan tied up in non-disclosure agreements. I don't know which is more likely.

Genuine question Why do we need to know ?
id like to know as well as many of others. Then why keep spreading "fake news" that the owners aren't prepared to invest in the club?

id like to know as well as many of others. What do you want them to say, and what can they tell us other than what they have, that they are looking into The Mem redevelopment. and even if they say that someone like you most likely won't believe it anyway.
We have all discussed the options at The Mem site and we all know there are many logistical challenges and isn't as easy as slapping a drawing or building on a blank piece of empty land/paper

Fair point. Not many other businesses where the owners give information away perhaps, but footballs like no other business. We don’t need to know the detail that some are demanding but it would be good to know what their vision is, what their long term plans are for the ground, some kind of time-scale no matter how rough. No need for detail or week to week stuff but just some kind of idea would be good. I’m hopeful for that but not expecting it. UTG!

Redevelop the stadium in a piecemeal fashion. What else is there?

Oh come on you know we have fans out there that have expertise and finance to design and build a ground far better than the board could ever dream of let alone pretend to build. They just need recognition of this fact and of course a voice on the Board and it would be ready for next season.
