We have to thank Rochdale for an exciting game and our own poor performance 1st half - think it sent the game into end to end stuff 2nd half and Dale probably thought they were going to score more than us. But the subs from us made the difference in last 20.. Nichols shouldn't start for Rovers - it's a waste of time - sad really.

Rochdale 7 .great early determination which shattered them out by half time.

Smith 7 topsy turvy night but in amongst it were some good stops.

Partington 6 hellish first half, scored a good header and did well when DC changed it.
Craig 6 not his best but played on the winning side.
Broadbent 6 mixed bag, would of learnt a lot last night. Improving all the time.
Brown 5 gave his opponent to much space at times.

Lines 9 MOTM That pass to Browner, that cross for Partington and that finish to win us the game.
O. Clarke 6 seemed a bit leggy and off the pace.
Sercombe 7 good goal and a nuisance when the formation changed.

Nichols 4 lastnight was a chance to impress, sadly wasn't the case.

Crowd 6 Woke up and helped get us over the line.
Ref 2 less said about first goal the better.
Rochdale 5 blitzed us first 30 mins with high energy and pressing, made us look leggy from weekend. In fairness probably deserved a share of the spoils but quality, mentality and form got us over the line. Thought the game changed when their no 27(Cannon)went off mid way through second half, he was causing lots of problems.

Poor performances all over the park last night but we still managed to win!
Pitch not totally to blame as Rochdale had less trouble passing to one another.

Smith 6 A shot stopper but holding on to the ball and distributing effectively still dodgy

Smith 7 other than the mistake in the first half when he probably should of come running out for a loose ball, played very well.

Sinclair 5 ineffective first half played a bit better once the wingers came on.
Partington 8 played well in defence and coming down the wing especially once Moore came on, great headed goal.
Craig 6 some mistakes, but otherwise fairly solid.
Broadbent 6 some mistakes, but otherwise fairly solid, love it when he drives the ball forward.
Brown 6 played alright again a few mistakes hopefully not injured for too long.

Lines 8 heart of the midfield, great goal. (MOM)
O. Clarke 6 a few good tackles, easily bullied off the ball at times.
Sercombe 7 some great ideas, very creative.

Nichols 5 only had one decent through ball think if he continued to play in a 2 he could come good.
Gaffney 5.5 not playing his best at the moment, seems knackered had a couple of good shots, still continues to be attracted to the corner flags.

Subs: Bola 6.5 played solid.
Bennett 6 good ideas, needed a bit more time.
Moore 7.5 best I've seen him play, funny what happens when you play players in their preferred positions.

Ref 3 some bad decisions for both teams, worst obviously being the first goal.
Rochdale 7 played pretty well, their number 40 was biggest threat from where I was standing.
