Morning boys and girls, Your favourite gaschatter is back with his official match day thread. Will be interesting to see how we line up today. I was initally thinking we will win as we are good at utilising out squad but Fleetwood are on a good run since getting rid of Rosler and they do have a decent team. McAleny and Madden is a decent strike force. McAleny is a player I wanted to see us sign in the summer, injuries have set him back a bit this season but he can definitely cause a threat. I won't be there today but did go to this fixture last season and was very impressed with Fleetwood who ran out 3-1 winners that day. How do we think we will line up? I don't have a scooby doo to be honest. You know DC will make changes though and expect him to make some that will shock us. Hopefully Sercs or Sincs are back as they would give us a big lift, we missed them on Friday. IMO, Sincs is our best player off the ball and Sercombe is our best on it. Safe travels to all those making the trip, really liked it there last year, friendly locals and well organised set up they have there in general. Remember to bring us back the 3 points please!  |

This is a game we simply have to win to prolong our season but I’ll be surprised if we do. A few too many injuries, Homs side in good form and lack of real fire power up front for us.
Hopefully I’m wrong !

The only change I can see DC making is reverting to one up front, with Sincs or Sercs (or Russe?) replacing Nichols and Moore replacing Mensah.
I doubt either Brown or Leads will be fit, not sure what's happened to JC or TB, actually injured or just rested on Friday?
It'll be interesting to see the table tonight, as we need to close the gap on 5th or 6th today, with Scunthorpe playing Plymouth.

Not sure DC has the players available? Brown and Leads are most likely out, possibly also JC & Boardbent, plus Sincs has also missed the last couple of games? It could well be only Sercs returns, or DC's just playing mind games!

Given that Sercs, Sincs, JClarke, Brown, Broadbent, Leads haven't made the team sheet in the recent games and he selected Development squad players for the bench I would say it's a reasonable assumption that these players are the ones he was referring to. If not then which players do you think are injured? Let's hope some of them are coming back for selection today, Sercs and Sincs are the ones that we need the most IMO. |
