It wouldn’t have been the first time...
2 mins and 20 seconds (number 5) Or the second....
6 minutes and 5 seconds (number 2) I would have forgiven him

Never forget the Newport keeper at the Mem; took a goalkick that blew over his shoulder for a corner.

Can vaguely remember Nichols attempting a throw out at the tent end and the ball nestled in the corner of our net. Think it was him or possibly one of our other loans and we lost heavily, could well have been that Newport game.

That's the one lost 4-1? Went to the away game and we won 4-1, came away from that game convinced we would be promoted and we were!

I remember a reserve game at Eastville when Laurie Taylor did throw the ball into his own net - think it may have been against Arsenal reserves.. Used to play ressie games there on a Wednesday afternoon.

I always remember us playing a game where me, my dad and my mate all came back from the game howling at one of the worst opposition goalkeeper displays we had ever seen from some bloke called Scott Shearer, we would sign him about a month later.

you must watch the top 10 video - No.1 and no.2 hilarious !!!
A classic is the keeper who thinks he's saved the penalty - his reaction is priceless.

Volley to the top corner, candidate for goal of the season (early Bodin goal wa it?). I brought two guests with me (I paid for them ) hoping it would get them interested - unsurprisingly, they’ve not been back since.

He dropped an easy ball and put it on a plate for the Newport bloke

Didn't Andy Collett get caught out with a player who was waiting (out of play) behind him when he rolled the ball out. Against Bournmouth?

Great feeling walking away from there, and then I remember York away, the penultimate game, where we hammered them but the other teams around us won and I walked away feeling so deflated, especially as we had just hammered York. Not until Lee Brown's winner did I believe again that we would do it.

I thought the one where the goalie is stood on the goal line. watching a high ball dropping down , would it clear the crossbar, no it lands right on his head and goes in, thought it was hilarious.
