I quite like watching PMQ's. Today, Corbyn had a new arse ripped out of him by May. He really is totally inept.
"“Did the PM, the then Home Secretary, sign off that decision?” Jeremy Corbyn asks about destroyed landing cards for Windrush immigrants
“No. The decision to destroy the landing cards was taken in 2009 under a Labour government” Theresa May replies.
**POP ** goes Corbyn's balloon.

I love listening to the Labour party accusing the current Government of all sorts and blaming them for everything whilst conveniently forgetting that they actually had a few years in power themselves which resulted in much of the sh** the current Government are now having to put right. Take the diesel car as an example. Blame the Tories for air pollution caused by diesel cars whilst forgetting that it was the Labour Government that promoted them in the first place.
As we all know, there is a repeating cycle here.
Stage 1 - Labour gets in by making promises that it can't deliver on, invites any Tom Dick and Harry to come here for a free hand out (although their real names are unlikely to be Tom, Dick or Harry!), overspends on everything, borrows to the hilt and gets kicked out just as the Country is going to the dogs financially
Stage 2 - Labour gets replaced by Conservatives who quickly realise the mess Labour has left and has to cut back on everything to try and get some money back to stop the Country going bankrupt. The length of austerity is generally related directly to the length of time that Labour has been in power. Then just as the Conservatives have a reign on things the public get fed up of austerity, blame the Conservatives for everything, and blindly think that Labour is the answer.
Stage 3 - see stage 1

The landing cards are not the main issue in this mess. The main issue is a massive cock up by the government who in trying to be tough on immigration ended up penalising people who have lived in this country for 40 years! Endless grovelling apologies by may just dosnt cut the mustard.

Well, what do you think their real names are, Scooby? I very much hope you`re not suggesting that they are Winston, Mohammed and Pyotr. Because if you are, you are a vile racist puppy, and this thread should be washed in bleach and then deleted.

I'm also offended that you have used masculine names. Are there not Females involved, or indeed Gender Neutral individuals? Is it any wonder the world is going tits/man-bobs up when when when ...oh, I'm speechless!

If you really want a laugh (or maybe a cry) read this complete and utter nonsense. It's talking about Gender Neutral Pronouns ie. how you should address people without offending them. I must admit, I personally think it is complete and utter drivel promoted by people who are all "look at me, me, me"! "Here are some other gender-neutral pronouns that people might request you use: Ey/em/eir/eirs Ne/nem/nir/nirs Xe/xem/xyr/xyrs Ze/hir/hir/hirs Ze/zir/zir/zirs These aren’t the only gender-neutral pronouns out there—and since language is continuously growing and changing, don’t be surprised if we develop new gender-neutral pronouns in the next few years." Endless grovelling apologies by may just dosnt cut the mustard. You can't really blame the current government for this, it's not mays fault that not only were the cards destroyed under labour but no electronic backups were made and people never kept paperwork relating to their arrival ,it does beggar belief that some blame the current government ,if the governments were reversed i.e the tories destroyed the documentation and labour passed new legislation, to some it would still be the tories fault. The simple facts are Labour dropped a boll ock ,in that nothing was transferred ,a long while back the government(can't remember which one was in power at the time but a massive project was undertaken to digitise some military records not sure if it was a forces wide policy or just related to one arm of the forces ,this was done to free up record space but the important point was everything was copied then backed up ,unlike the boarding passes. People can't keep shifting blame to hide the co-ckups made by previous governments ,i suppose you will blame the lib-dems next for the scandal of iraqs wmd's

Also its this government that didnt react anything like quick enough when it was obvious there was an issue with with the policy regarding the windrush children. Even some of the decisions about destroying the cards were taken when she was home secretary its emerged. It might have looked good at PMQ"s but it wasnt the whole truth im afraid. Still no need to panic she wont be PM by the time of the next election. The WMD scandal is what blair will be mostly remembered for imo,he was thatcher with a smile for me.
