Slocombe 6 One great save but poor distribution today J Clarke 6 Dependable but no pace Brown 8 MOM just because it's him Lockyer 7.5 Solid Craig 7.5 as above Lines 8 Quite classy Sercombe 7 Understandably tired Bennett 6.5 Less effective wide Moore 6.5 Good in flashes Harrison 6.5 Battled hard Nichols 6 So badly want him to do well
Telford 7.5 Made a difference Gaffney 6 Off his game Broom 5.5 Looked well off the pace
D.C. 7 Should have freshening it up Ref 4 Poor Crowd 10 Gills 4 water poor
End of season, lack of interest and tired legs! Great send off for Browner. We lack quality and think we will lose some of our better players (and possibly our management) over the summer (Leads, Ellis, etc) Still one more project to go this season. UTG

Slocombe 5 not a lot to do, poor kicking J. Clarke 6 defended ok Lockyer 7 defended well against the big man Craig 7 same as above Brown 6 did his job Moore 5 feeble at times not much end product Lines 6 played to deep and couldn't effect play enough, good forward run late on and we scored. Sercombe 6 also to deep at times Bennett 6 not at his best but space to work in a lot harder to find today Nichols 5 just to weak whenever it's a bit of a physical battle, which it is most weeks in L1 Harrison 5 well handled by their centrebacks Subs: Telford 6 much better than Nichols in the box where it matters Gaffney 6 some good hold up play but again no much goal threat Broom 5 ok Crowd 8 Ref 5 Gillingham 5

Slocombe 6.5 did nothing wrong J. Clarke 6 an ok game, lacks pace though. Lockyer 6.5 dealt with Eaves ok Craig 7 organised the defence well, got some good tackles in. Brown 7 got forward well, shame to see him go. Moore 6 had plenty of the ball but no end product Lines 8 m.o.m. everything came through Linsey,i still think he plays too deep. Sercombe 7 did well, faded a bit late on. Bennett 6 a bit in and out today. Nichols 5 not strong enough, doesnt look like scoring. Harrison 6 can't fault his workrate but didnt have his best game today. Subs: Telford 7 a natural striker, he can only get better the more he plays. Gaffney 6 same as Ellis , we need better. Broom 5 arguably worse than Moore, he's young but we need better. Crowd 7 good numbers and deserved to witness better than the poor show today Ref 6 average, not helped by a blind linesman. Gillingham 4 poor, offered little.

Slocombe 6.5. Generally ok with little to do, although distribution not great.
Clarke 6.5. Defensively good but doesn't offer what Leadbitter or Partington do going forward. Seemed to struggle a bit after their substitutions, but he was on far side from me so that may be harsh. Lockyer 7.5. Dealt with Eaves well. Pretty sound throughout. Craig 7.5. Typical solid unruffled defensive rock. Very good signing. Brown 7.5. Did well defensively and supported the attack. Great to see him so instrumental in the goal. Will take some replacing. Thanks for the memories Browner.
Moore 6. Largely anonymous. Some decent moments but I wish he'd attack the full back down the outside occasionally. The winger's job is to get the ball in the box but he doesn't do it enough. That said, there's something there and I think I'd give him a year. I think. Lines 8.5 (MoM). Everything went through him and he hardly wasted a pass. With Gillingham sitting deeper than Wigan it was harder to get behind them but only he looked like doing so, and indeed did for the goal. One of the best midfielders in the league. Sercombe 7. Did ok and was one if the few to have a better second half than first. At times played too deep which with Lines behind him is unnecessary. Bennett 6.5. Tried but not one of his better days. Another great signing though and look forward to seeing him next season.
Nichols 7. Had a good first half but faded in the second. There is a player there I'm sure. Harrison 7. My player of the year but he looks knackered and it showed today.
Gaffney 7.5. Put himself about, showed some good touches and generally added some much needed spark when introduced on the hour. Keep. Telford 7.5. This lad has a striker's instinct for goals and he is one we should definitely try to sign. However, it's a big ask to expect someone with so little experience to score 20+ goals. Would like to see him alongside Ellis. Broom 6. Didn't influence the game and I fear the team has evolved too quickly for him over recent years. There's only so long he can be a promising youngster.
Ref 5. Poor. Fussy at times yet also let so many niggly pushes and trips go unpunished. How Gills no 33 stayed on I'm not sure. Crowd 7. Great send off for Browner but largely quiet, probably uninspired by a relatively drab game. Gills 7. Niggly, not good to watch, yet on balance deserved their point. Shame we didn't play better as they were there for the taking. DC 8. Well timed double substitution when we needed it. Has done remarkably well at the end if this season given the loss of key players.

Slcocombe 6, not much to say really Clarke 6, solid at the back, poor in attack, same as just about every other time he plays right back Lockyer 7, kept Gillingham quiet Craig 7.5, always tough tackler Brown 11 , farewell legend Moore 6.5, not his best game but still alright Lines 8, drove forward with the ball and some good challenges Sercombe, 7 kept the ball better than against Wigan Bennet 7, always looks dangerous, tried to create chances Harrison 7, put in the hard yards, but struggled for chances Nichols 6, it’s clear he is a half decent player just never seems to come off
Gaffney 5, just get rid of him Telford 8, our biggest threat: followed up well for the goal, sign him on please Broom 6, didn’t really see much of him
Crowd 8, great reception for Brown but during the game it wasn’t the best but to be fair, there wasn’t much to shout about Ref 6, a couple of things but nothing major Gillingham 7, looked stable at the back but offered little going forward

Slocombe 6- distribution could of been better
J. Clarke 6- good defensive performance but did not give us enough going forward Lockyer 8 - coped well with Eaves and distribution a lot better than usual Craig 7.5 - very assured performance Brown 7.5 - not many errors and got forward well for the goal. Will be missed
Moore 6.5 - frustrating. Needs to beat the final man and score more goals but has got the ability Lines 7.5 - most good things were started by him but did not pass the ball as quickly as was needed and played too deep Sercombe 6.5 - a few good moments but has had better games Bennett 6 - well off the pace
Nichols 4.5 - bullied off the ball far too often. Had his chance in this game to come good against a poor side but did not take it Harrison 5 - good effort but looked out of sorts. Goals have dried up.
Subs: Telford 7 - DC implied in his post match interview that whilst he is a good goal scorer the rest of his game is not up to it. We desperately need a goal scorer though. Gaffney 5.5 - Good effort but we do not need another striker who cannot score regularly. Broom 5- did not take his chance to impress.
Crowd 9 - superb atmosphere at times Ref 5 Gillingham 5

Results in and Lee Brown was Man of the Match in his last ever game for Rovers with a score of 7.56.
This was Brown's 181st (and 166th league) game that contributed to the Player Rating threads. It was his fourth Man of the Match with the others coming at Fleetwood away this season and in cup games against Southend and Chesham in 2015/16.
Brown's highest rated game was unsurprisingly the Dagenham game where he scored 8.6. Following that was an 8.2 in the second leg of the play-off against FGR and an 8.0 in a draw away at Welling.
Brown's lowest rating was a 3.0 away at Shrewsbury last season. He wasn't alone as nine players also have that game as a ratings low point while a further nine have this season's trip to Shrewsbury as their lowest rating.
His four season's in these threads have seen him average 6.33 in the Conference, 6.63 in League Two, 6.03 last season and 6.03 this season.
Ellis Harrison failed to score MotM or runner-up for the fifth game in a row. His previous longest run without being in the top two was three games- the first three games of the season.
Only tangentially related to the Ratings, but Slocombe and Smith are on course to play the exact same number of minutes of regular time this season. If Slocombe starts against Southend, both will have made 23 league starts plus 2 cup starts. Slocombe was sent off 30 minutes from the end of the Walsall game yet played 30 minutes extra time against Wolves. Assuming Slocombe plays the 90 minutes, both will finish having played 2250 minutes
Slocombe 6.2
J. Clarke 6.1 Lockyer 6.9 Craig 6.9 Brown 7.6
Moore 5.9 Lines 7.4 Sercombe 6.6 Bennett 6.1
