Shall we change the run out music to the theme from "Carry on Camping?"

Shall we change the run out music to the theme from "Carry on Camping?" The opposition might need it for when we camp in their half for 90 minutes.

Looks like we need to start again with a blank canvas, however I can only see us getting pegged back.

Are you sure he didn't say "Sit down or I will fill you in and send you south" and you misheard?

If the Mem is going to be redeveloped, and we're going to carry on playing there during (which we should I in my view), then we've got to increase capacity on some sides of the ground for when other parts of the ground are out of action, so I see this as a positive.
The big question for me is would we be best to relocate the pitch so as to maximise the south and west stands? How much of the car park could we "pinch" to increase the stadium footprint? Presumably you could design it with parking under a new east stand.

Why dont we go the whole Chuffing hog and have the ballon fiesta at the mem, after all we have half the worlds canvas here already, like billy smarts bloody circus. Won't the dancing elephants in tutu's wreck the pitch

I reckon we should acquire a giant tarpaulin to cover the whole of the ground. We'd be the only stadium in the football league with a retractable roof. That'd wipe the smug grins off the away fans' faces!

So the owners have decided to make more use of the ground by putting in more (temporary) stands which will increase capacity and get more match day income. Have I got that right or am I wrong? Blimey, they must be businessmen who are trying to maximise the limited resources of the Mem. I’m glad someone’s thinking of creating more income whilst we’re stuck here. Who cares what it looks like, this is Eastville, Twerton, no I mean the Mem, not The Emirates. Good luck to them! Christ if we could put up with those grounds which weren’t the best (though I loved them dearly!) surely we can put up with a few more tents, blimey it will make us think we’re on holiday! UTG!

Not quite what we were hoping for, but at least it shows good intent.

Rumour, but we do know the club haven’t released season tickets for the family enclosure yet as they are ‘finalising plans for a new family area’ If there are plans to 'tent over' the open area of the East Terrace, and erect a seated stand behind the terracing, will I be able to sit down as I have renewed my ST and usually stand at the top of the terracing there?

Correct me if I'm wrong but... This is just rumour at the moment right? The club haven't said they are putting in more seating have they? It's only a rumour but with some basis. The club are currently losing up to 20k by restricting away support to 1200 fans per match. If they allowed 2000 in total and charged £22 per seat plus monies from other sales we could be making around 60-100k per season extra. Also as mentioned a new 'family stand' is being set up in some part of the ground. Surely: the club won't be using excisting seating to put extra pressure on top of pressure. So we are hoping the club will be sensible and allow more seating and make more money. A good move I think! 700 extra away x £22 = £15 400 / 700 extra away x £5 refreshments £ 3500 = £ 19000 x 5 ( Plymouth Pompey Sunderland Bolton? Luton Exeter ?) = £100k
