Maybe they will convert some of the south stand into accessable seating now it won't be needed for away fans.

Weren't we selling Season Tickets for the South Stand? We’ve always done that haven’t we? The stadium ticket map on the club website is showing that the South stand will be split in two again next year.

I can confirm the South Stand does season tickets though as I've renewed mine for that area again this year.

I would have thought it would be cheaper and easier not to have to segregate the south stand at all though.
If they have seats and terrace in the away corner then other than for increased numbers for certain games, I'd imagine the SS will not be used by away fans next season.

Who on earth would want to sit/stand behind one of the goals, anyway?

I think it’s possible to apply for temporary increase in the capacity for big games where there is a likelihood of a sell out. I believe Newport County did this last year for t heir FA Cup match against spurs. Would be fun to get a big tie at home in the Cup and see if we could squeeze 13,000 into the tiny ground of ours. Correct. Newport had 9,836 against Spurs when the usual capacity at Rodney Parade for football matches is 7,850. Produced a cracking atmosphere too. Imagine what 13,000 at the Mem for a big game would be like! I think we had around that for the West Brom FA cup match a few years ago

I notice Bristol post have reported only one new stand going in that is not correct, but what do you expect from the post!. I can see why the club brought in this chap from Plymouth, he is probably experienced in re-development of stadiums which has happened at Argyle so he will be useful when the mem finally gets re-developed. Certainly means that UWE is finished, so we can finally get rid of the that bloody thread.

Could be due to police advice. They made us kick off early and when we played at Plymouth, there were plenty of empty seats in between. Apparently the police said we could have no more then.

Given we're only now apparently gettingthe two new stands, the SW and NE Family stand, why would that lead to an increase in away fans, plus hasn't it always been around the 1,100 mark anyay unless we opened up the "safe" area in the South stand which I would have thought unlikely for the visit of either Cov or Muff supporters.
