Without knowing what those individuals do on a day to day basis I wouldn't know. I doubt the president takes a salary and maybe the chairman's role will disappear in due course once the CEO is up to speed.
Again the London office is difficult for us to comment on from the outside. What we do know is, turnover increased to £6.2M in the first full year of operating under our new owners from £4.7M the previous year.
The owners are well used to running big business and they will be aware of the need to manage costs. This is a new era for the club and it will be run on proper business lines.
The financial results will be a massive indicator of where this club will go over the next five or ten years.
My original post on the thread in reply to the GGMI complaint re the cost of tea was that success will cost all of us.The world of football has moved on from Nick Higgs' era. No doubt Nick himself realised that and knew the club had to be sold.

I do apologize about my error on the tea and coffee issue I was more refering to the comment that this is beginning to "stink"
The issue is someone has to pay for success and unless the accounts show money is being inappropriately taken from the company I'm happy for the owners at present, to manage the business side of the club.
The moaning on here is beginning to sound like handout Britain. I want a great NHs but it's going to cost. I want a great Rovers but it's going to cost.

Lets look at the past week..
Ellis goes but such is life. Hope to find a suitable replacement before the end of the window.
Keith Brookman, appears to be pushed out of the door.
Walk into stadium. Past a long queue at the food kiosk, take my place in the stand. Go to get a cup of coffee, stand in queue. Notice drink prices have considerably gone up. Get to front of queue and they only have cheese and onion pasties available.
Watch match, started off very well but continued to pass the ball well without any end product. Obviously missing a presence in the box. Defending was a farce. Walk away disappointed but knowing the scoreline didn't reflect the game. We were just shocking where it matters (in both boxes).
Get home to watch DC interview (accept it COULD be mind games) where it sounds like once again we are shopping in Poundland despite selling our best player in 3 of the last 4 windows. Me paying more for my season ticket and cup of coffee and service still being sh** I.e season tickets not yet arriving. Shirts being unavailable etc.
Hope this makes me frustrations clearer.

What, a 33% is a big increase in one go? Personally think that is disgusting. And what about the money we have had in for outgoing players? I'm sure that will go a long way to marquee signings. So where does the money come from for marquee signings? The club accounts get published every year. The sale of players is what has ensured we still have a club. Unless us 8000 become 16000 we will have to dig deeper or encourage someone to buy the club who is willing to gift us money. I don't like it anymore than any other fan. We can't though complain about £2 for a cup of tea but then expect the Al Qadi's to gift us endless cash. and that's why we need a new ground

I went to the Queue to get a drink before the game. Whilst waiting in the long queue to get served I could see all drinks prices had gone up £1.50 to £2. A 33% increase. It took me nearly 15 mins to get served, I seen a few people even walk out of the queue. Added to the fact that we have sold our best player and DC has now said not expect a marquee signing. Keith Brookman appears to have been treated like crap. Season ticket prices increased with no secondary price freeze. It is really starting to stink at the moment and I wouldn't blame DC for getting out as soon as he can. No early bird prices on tickets.
I trust DC to get the best out of his players but I don't trust him to be fully backed. As for today's farce of a friendly. We started off well but were poor in both boxes. Lack of a target man was obvious in the first half. Nichols put his foot in but flattered to deceive, service wasn't great to him in his defence and he was roughed up by Exeter. Matthews looked promising and Reilly looked particularly promising when he come on. Sercombe was poor and didn't do enough, maybe better in a 3 than 2 man midfield. Broadbent was poor today. I'm not a happy clapper or a naysayer. I say it how I see it and tonight I feel really deflated. I felt a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth before the game as there has been a few signs that we are getting more corporate. Today's defeat has just soured my thoughts even more. Where is this money going/gone? Where's my extra 50p every other week on my cup of coffee going? Answers on a postcard.

Where is this money going/gone? Where's my extra 50p every other week on my cup of coffee going? Answers on a postcard. Interesting thread - perhaps we can offer an alternative or complimentary view to some of your thoughts. Drinks prices still compare favourably with other bars in and around Bristol. Unfortunately queues are common where there is a specific start time for an event - ie; theatre, cinema, etc because people tend to arrive at the same time which also applies where there is an interval - lots wanting to be served at the same time. I imagine things will be easier when the season is under way Can't remember Rovers ever signing a Marquee player - maybe Alan Ball and Mick Channon - but they were at the end of their careers Sold our best player - debatable - but one of our best for sure. (who was under pressure by his agency to move away) KB resigned because he didn't agree with his employers decisions - admirable stance by him - but does not make what they are doing wrong - time will tell. Season tickets price increase - as per most Clubs in the EFL - No early bird discount - rather pointless increasing prices and then discounting them - defeats the point of an increase DC to leave - that will happen one day - but from my knowledge he is kept informed by the owners - and I am sure they take his views seriously - he is a cute cookie in my opinion and I am sure he knows what he is saying and when to say it - for maximum effect. As for the players and the performance - most fans see this in different ways - your opinion is as valid as anyone else. I haven't got a postcard but I suggest your 50p every other week (£13 a season) will go towards the extra wages of players, backroom staff, stadium improvements, and keeping BRFC afloat for another season. Having said all that, it is the responsibility of the Club to offer the best they can in all departments for the best price - I happen to believe they are doing their best and that it will get better.

Hard to believe you've got the cheek to post that on here at present, when we've no strikers and no new stands but fans are expected to pay 25% more for soft drinks etc meanwhile the owners have pocketed nearly £1m from selling two of our strikers.

Did you express your view when the Club sold Lambert, Roberts, Ellington, Mabbutt, Martyn, Stewart, Yates - all of those under different owners! It happens in football - players move on.

Exactly my point - we always have been a 'find em and sell em on Club' and selling Ellis when he wanted to go is no different - we will replace him - maybe not today but he will be replaced by a young hungry player who DC and MS will transform

Fingers crossed on the "young hungry player who DC and MS will transform" bit.

A lot of things went up but appears DC hasn't had the budget to go with it. Are the Al Qadi's milking us for all they can before they find a buyer?!

Regards today's game at least the new signings showed promise. Sercombe and Broadbent may have been poor but at least we know they are capable of much better. Anyone follow James Clarke on insta and see his 'story' or whatever they're called yesterday? Was funny, video of a long row of first teamers catching flies on the flight home. They would've been fooked today. Fair point Weezord. I think we are ok across the middle though in general. It's up front and the defence that worries me. It was a strange game as 0-4 sounds a lot worse than the performance. We weren't great though. Over 1 month on and 7 games in, what has changed?
