The expectations are low to very F'ing low with the current attacking options.
Will be a real sign what DC thinks of current players that he has to choose from.
1 up front, but take your pick. I'd give O'Reilly a go.

If the signing is made today, they won’t release the press release until this afternoon after photos, interviews etc. I’d imagine if a deal is to be announced today, the majority of it will have been completed by now. |

We could always just shut up shop and park the bus and take a 0-0 draw. We don't always have to go for the win and risk losing. Plenty of teams have done it to us over the years when they've visited the Mem. If Mourinho went to Anfield without any strikers do you think he'd go all out attack or put 10 men behind the ball at take a point?

Concede a sh** goal then go for it with no time left. |

Pretty excited about the start of the season now, irrespective of personnel. Lack of attacking options a concern but as we've seen time and time again pre-season form means absolutely diddly-squat when it comes to the real stuff. That said, a difficult game first up and a real test.
Come on boys, bring it home!

Probably the best time to play posh now,they have got rid of and loaned out 19 of last season's squad and brought in 15 new faces. Hopefully it take's them time to gel.

I can't believe we haven't beaten the posh since 2007!
It's time for Nichols to step up for us and score against his former club. The pressure has never been greater, he surely knows there are a couple of (fingers crossed) strikers on their way through the door within the next week.
Never has he had a better opportunity to show DC and us what he can do. If he can deliver for us now and in the first game of the season that could be the kick start he and we need, there's would be no better way to start the season.
C'mon lad you can do it!
