Leaving at 9-30 for the drive up to Peterborough. I am very excited.
Don’t have massive expectations but it won’t be as bad as the Doom mongers are telling us.
And on the striker front, I am hoping DC is taking his time to get the right man. He could easily have signed the wrong one this week.

There are 3 things to expect from life:
1) Death
2) Taxes
3) Bristol Rovers losing on the first day of the season.
Not at all optimistic today considering we’ve lost 8 out of the last 9 games on the opening day of the season and we are away to Peterborough. C’mon gas prove me wrong.

AH! peace at last! ,all the rumors bout this player,that player signing can be put on the back burner at least for today and the real stuff starts!.I see some'experts' predict a poor season for us, just like some tipped us to finish 3erd last season!can't remember to many tipping Shrewsbury to have the season they had!thankfully predicting footie results aint an exact science else Rovers just as well save everyone time and money and not bother turning up today!if i have learn't owt in 60 odd years supporting Rovers its always expect the unexpected! Today this just might be Tom Nichols scoring!though i must admit having watched him in preseason i dont see the point in him anymore and it takes a lot for me to give up on a player,so i will be very happy to eat humble pie at 16.45 ish! For what its worth i hope Reilly starts,, as i believe he will have a great season for us, just a hunch ,DC says he knows his team and just may be he has a surprise or two up his sleeve for us but no matter who plays come on Rovers give it your all and confound the doom mongers!COME ON YOU YELLOWS,YELLOWS, YELLOWS!
